Well, anyway. A week ago I was hanging out with her at my public school (yes, on a Sunday). Everything was going great. There was tons of flirting, laughs, kissing... And as we walked home, I thought I should, ask her out (to be Boyfriend Girl Friend). But couldn't bring myself to it! I new she felt the same way I felt with her. Just, couldn't speak... After a pretty long goodbye, I walked home the happiest guy on earth.

Soon, Courtney wasn't returning my calls, and I began to wonder. Today, I talked to my friend and he told me that she was asked out 3 days after that day! She said yes. He said that she liked me, but she got the picture that I just wanted to be friends when I didn't ask her out that day! I feel horrible, like my hearts been torn to pieces. I always thought this was a fake feeling that only Dramatic TV show's made up (yes, I was that clueless). I just can't get over her! I feel so stupid. :(

Ahhh yes my friend, I have found my self in the sam situation you are many times, left with your heart in your hand...it truely sucks, I'll give and example with one of my stories.

About 1 year ago, I was in school, and I was thinking about a girl I had meet the year previous, I hadn't really talked to her, but I liked her, of course I chickened out then to even talk to her. Well I decided to email her, which I did. She replied and we got to talking, I learned a whole lot about her, her past life, where she lived, all that sort of stuff. Well we really got close, very very close. She did say that she loved me, but I made the biggest mistake of my life, letting her meet my friend. In the instant she meet him, she forgot all about me, and wanted to go out with him. Which they did, and she was bit in the ass for it later. He would hang around another girl, often, he said he didn't like her, but he's the guy that can't say no to anything. So she broke up with him, she came balling to me in class becasue he made her cry, by yelling at her and everything. I right there, if I knew what classroom he was in, I would have beat the living hell out of the guy, but I didn't I stayed and comforted her. (I was in Chemistry and done with all homework so my teacher said fine, and we went to the counsulers office and talked there.) Well after 3 days of him being an entire asshole, I got in the guys face. He wouldn't settel it toe-to-toe, yet he cocks off like he can beat anybody up. So after that junk he quit, well the one that was there during all her pain during every thing for over a year, was completely ignore for dating. She meet another one of my friends and went out with him. I wasn't surprised at all. (She likes guys for their looks more than their inner self....) So now I was sitting at home just sitting there, realising that hey, I don't need to be mopeing about just becasue of her. So I got up, called up some people, went to town, and got my car packed with people, and in the front seat with me, was a girl 15 year's old, name Emily. She's very sweet and kinda shy. She said she liked talking to me, I make her laugh she said, and I told her good night when I took the other guys home. (Yes 4 guys and one girl, she was kinda left to fend for herself. So I talked with her more, I didn't want her to be left out, I think I made the right move, she asked if she could have a hug before I left, and I walked her to her front step. (A very classic, nice night.) When I said good night and thanks for the nice night, she then closed door. Right there, I was so happy, and I knew that it was all going to be alright.

I few months ago I had a friend who was quite a few years older than me,I found out he had a girlfriend but it was only shared to his closest friends,and his parents then about 2 months after she dissapeared!

She was last seen on a road at night waiting for a city bus then she simply dissapeared!!!
He,and his family quickly joined in the search effort but about 2 weeks later she was pronouned dead!!!
You know why?
Someone found her body in the woods one week ago!
Everyone is searching for the killer and their trying to bring machetees with them I think!

A week after she was found(like,before yesterday),he packed his bags,and moved away!!! :S

I never realy got to hear his name much though... :(

I have had three girlfriends. All of them were amazingly awesome. All of them moved away. Two (my favorite ones) moved to lousiana... The other, georga. WHAT WITH THE SOUTH TAKING MY GIRLS!!!! Arg. Personally, I am 15 and do not date much. I am comfortable with my sexuality, and do not need to prove myself to other men. Flirting is fun, but that is bout all I do. Besides, at my age, what are we going to do? Kiss? Thbbbt... Can't even drive yet.

However, if flirting does not sustain you, do thusly: Find a friend who's sibling is about to have a wedding. Wait for all the girls to get drunk or so loaded up on sugar they are hyper. Go to the dance floor. Good times... Good time XD

@ Splam- just let go. It would probably turn out in eachother hating eachother. Simple as that. If you can't get anything substantial from a relationship (hehe), don't start one. Unless you are over 14, you shouldn't even have one. First get to know yourself. The only girl I would remotely start to considder going out with right now figure skates with me... Well, Proud, how a can you clearly diminish all who are younger than 14 by saying that they shouldn't do what people of the opposite were made to do. Dating has nothing to do with age, but the level of maturity that that person has. I'd say that if a 7 year old loves someone dearly and has known the person long enough and knows them well enough to date them, shouldn't that give them right? If a 17 year old goes around raping girls, does that mean that they should be able to go out with someone because they are over 14? That is a very farfetched statement, and I find that to many people share that same opinion, that people can be leveled and put aside do to their age! Hopefully you and all others who can say a younger kid has more God given right than an older one find that age doesn't matter, that maturity, spirit, and intelligence matters.

@ canned- I did not say that you shouldnt... I just pretty much said "what the hell are you going to do?" Your parents follow you, you can't drive or take a bus, and anything else would be strickly gross. A peck on the cheek and saying you going out with another is fun, but I would think that is all one would get from a preteen relationship...

Proud, I'm sorry for getting on your case, but I do ride the bus and I do get more than a peck on the cheeck (a lot more XD ). I guess that this is different in many places, and I'm sorry again for not taking that into perspective (San Francisco is a pretty lively city). Hope you forgive me. :(

I know how hard it is to get over someone tat u like and may even love....i had a similar situation...cept me and the guy never really brought out our feelings....we both knew tat we liked each other.....cept our whole class kept trying to set us up.....i got a lil upset and since he was talking to me himself and sent others to talk for him (he was my best friend so I felt a lil hurt) and well....i didnt speak to him for like 2 weeks....he ended up moving tat summer......we now talk by aim.....but he now has a girl friend and seems to be avoiding me now on purpose....i just wonder always what would have happened if I had been courageous enough to say something....to talk to him about it would things have changed.....anywayz.....i would say talk to her before its too l8....shes just waiting for u to make the first move...good luck with it...and to everyone else who needs it
