Also, my server can't run when my mac is off, right?
When the server is running and the icon is in the dock, if I go to my TT folder and try to open the game it won't open. Also, my server won't run at all anymore.
Thanks
Also, I think player might help you here. He seems to know a heck of alot more than I do.
I'm not a Mac person, but I can try to help. Try creating another instance of TT on your computer. Use one to host and one to play. (hosting and playing on the same version shouldn't be a problem, but having 2 versions will make it easier to out what is wrong).
I downloaded TT again and could see my server from that game, but my server will no longer run no matter what special coding stuff try.
:S
You should be launching the server via the terminal. When you launch a server using the terminal the TT icon in the dock will have the black "running" arrow beneath it. You can not play in the same application that's running a dedicated server. (Don't confuse this with launching a server from within the game. That is not a dedicated server.)
You will now need a second instance of TT to play on.
Also, typically when you run a dedicated server and you using a router, you will see 2 instances of the game in the server list. The game scans the local network for games as well as the internet. The game you host will most likely be on port 28000. This only happens for the first server that's launched. All othe rservers will only be seen on the internet.

I think got a dedicated server to run, but when I got it running, it opened ThinkTanks, yet it didn't open ThinkTanks. On my Dock (mac users will know what this means) it had the little black arrow to show it was running, but I could not truly open it.
Thanks.
