Hey all. While sniffing around filefront.com I found the demo of a WWII squad based game called Faces of War that almost owns TT in several things. I'll just do a recap of the playing experience that I went through in the demo level.

The player(in this case,me) plays as the Allies,and is supposed to take out a germain radar station in normandy for the paratroopers to land. After a short little cinematic of my boats landing at the beach,I take control of my squad. The AI is extremely intellegent. The other squads go in prone/crouched position and take cover near the radar station. Your supposed to go to the nearby "farm" that looks like a very miniature village with only 1-2 houses as a secondary objective to evaluate the situation.
Its a good idea to do so because you now know what your dealing with.
Then heres the hard part: kill every single one of the radar stations guards without letting any escaping to the farm to allert the other guys.
Then when their done,the engeneer of the squad blows up the radar station. Now heres the confusing part: even though its mission accomplished,you gotta get some power unit at the farm. But first,you gotta kill the enemies that are comming.
Hide in the bushes on the right of the road then kill the infantry. Your allies will take care of the armored car in seconds with bazookas. You'll need your bazookas later.
First,use your sniper specialist and kill the guys with the Stationary Machine Guns. Throw a couple nades if you have to. Then take control of the nearby anti-air turret and let em' have it! Once all the remaining guards are dead,get into that building! You'll soon face legions of enemies and a couple tanks and some other kind of...Transport...with 2 wheels in the front and threads in the back and a whole lotta soldiers in it. Its more dangerous than the tanks I personaly think. When your good to go,GET BACK TO THE BEACH. I cant say anything about this part,I never got that far!
