Proxy servers are mostly used for large companies to surpass the firewall so they can go ahead with there bussines. But you only wanted just to get "un-banned" from PTT and TT servers.

Well here are the many dangers you can get from Proxy servers.

Hackers, Viruses, Spyware, Worms, and other things that firewall blocks is free for your computer. I read somewhere that when using Proxy servers just for a small reason might cause a huge advantage for hackers. Yeah, advantages are that your internet connection is almost as the speed of light, but you might want to think again. Just a single IP from a Proxy server... Your doomed.
