Sorry if this is a repeat of someone's elses thread but I coudn't find one about this.

I have two questions.

Question 1 :
Can I change the music in TT? Either thru the actual TT files or the.mis files, it doesn't matter to me.

example:
//--- OBJECT WRITE BEGIN ---
//Created with ModWizard v1.3
//Please remember to put 'MOD' at the beginning of your server name.
new SimGroup(MissionGroup) {
musicTrack = "Frantic"; <---- here maybe?

New ScriptObject(MissionInfo) {
name = "Slopes Synaptic";
author = "kai";
};

Question 2:

Ho do I get it to centeprint Map by: Kai on whoever's screen it is that joins my server?

Kai, I can help you with music if you tell me what OS you're using.

Alrighty, so you can change the music with music.cs (or my MusicModder script, never released), but, as I soon found out, it'll be client-side only. I think the best way is to export an ogg file with Audacity, rename it to g1.ogg, and place it in the music folder in TT data.

All I want is to be able to listen to the music myself on my servers so I don't have to open another program to play it because I don't have enough ram for that without the computer locking up. The files inquestion are files from the internet that I bought and they are.WMA files and audacity is not legally allowed to play or inport them for licensing reasons. Thanks

I know that you said you didn't know if this has been repeated or not, but you can find out by useing Search PlanetThinkTanks tool. Here are two of the links I got from it: Music in MOds and Help (music) .

I don't think BraveTree's released it. You can find the music.cs.dso file in the gameclientscripts folder.

In PCs it's here:
c:Program FilesBraveTreeThinkTanksgameclientscripts
For Mac:
ContentsResourcesgameclientscripts

Probably not useful for anything though. Best to do what Chilled said.

I remember someone putting out new music like a day ago. Search PTT. I know it's out there.

Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 6:47:44 PM

E-mail me your songs in the.wma format. I'll convert them to.ogg for you for use in TT. :)

Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 7:09:45 PM

Chilled, can you convert wma to ogg through Audacity?
Or if not, could you point me to the program that you're using to do that?

It's called WireTap, my Spunky friend. Useful in any situation! :)
Get it here!
It used to be free, you can get an old version here .

@Creative-G²³(SA²), I would like to ask you to please stop cluttering up the modding forums with useless/irrelevant comments? Thanks.

@Warfare, yeah, but you must use WireTap to record the audio to another format, then export the ogg from Audacity.
