Hey guys im back...Heres some Pheasant hunting pictures :)

Well since ive been gone for a wile...it might be a week or so before I get back on TT.... I have alot of homework to make-up....so ill see you soon!

I hate hunting, it's like murdering, only with animals.

its not murdering....if u wanna talk about murdering...What do u think is in a hamburger...well its not carrots...if anything is murdering it is when u eat a hamburger..because there locked up in a pin for years then killed for there meat... Atleast when you hunt they have a fair chance of getting a way....well not with my shooting at them ;)

Billy hope you had a good time in my home state! Pheasant hunting is awesome I bagged 2 the other day as I was driving back from work.

@tally - I have a creamed pheasant over minnesota wild rice recipe that is awesome!!

Yea memphis I like to road hunt every once in a while..but it gets old...3 roosters is no fun...But my uncle owns Muth Electric in south Dakota so he gots mucho money...so he bought up some land and its main purpose is for Pheasant hunting....but only for family...and on his preserver its no 3 roosters....its 15 roosters a piece. XD

Actually, plants have no nervous system as far as I know... PLUS they got cell walls to help them out.

Carnivorous Plants (Venus Fly Trap,Water Bladder etc etc.) do not have a nervous system,which confuses scientists,how can they sense their prey without a nervous system?

Plants have been shown to have a rudimentary nervous system where cells communicate with one another when the organism is under stress. Interpretation, when a tree is being chopped down by a chainsaw, the leaves know about it. Just because it isn't an advanced nervous system doesn't make it any less gruesome. Promote good stewardship and utilization of resources. All life is sacred, not just the things with faces.

Thousands of animals are killed inadvertently in the harvest of grains and vegetables...besides...for animal you don't eat, I'm eating three. Delicious...

Incidentally - it is my understanding that a study was undertaken and it was found that plants indeed have feelings, or at least feel pain similar to animals.....this was a couple of weeks ago and I can't remember where I heard this.

@Billy Bob; nice photo! Saw you were in SD & thought this was kind of cool. I'm not a hunter, but a lot of my relatives are. Here's an old one from the 1950's.

It's at my grandfather's farm on the north side of Sioux Falls. Been in the family since the 1870's. One of my nephews owns the farm now. Kind of cool to look at the really old ones from the turn of the century. The small hill in the background is now I-90, and the treeline is the Big Sioux river.

All the land on the other side of the interstate is a subdivision now. :(...but the chicken coop on the left is still in use. :)

Gotta love fresh chicken! There's nothing better than whacking the head off your dinner and watching it run around the yard.

Allow me to clarify my reasons for being vegetarian, unless you want me to go hardcore and only eat products made naturally from animals... Plants, they reproduce alot faster than most animals we eat.

Plus they can't fight back. (darn saguaro cactus) :)

Hey PIP, have you ever plucked a few weeds out of the ground? Tore any blades of grass? Ever bought a popsicle? Do you use wood in your house? What about the plastics, oils, and fuels made from all those cute harmless reptiles and ancient plants buried in the ground?
