Does it have to be a tank?
It needs to be one of the 5 tanks. Light, Medium, Heavy, BabyBoss or Boss.

I will also be releasing a new version of my tank template, with even more little additions to make your skin look as nice and organized as possible.

BTW, my muse informs me that I am competing in this challenge, so I will not be checking the submissions until after I have finished mine. That way I'm not influenced at all by any of your submissions.
But that also means I'm not reading the emails either. So if you have any questions, either post them here or send them to my regular email in my profile.

All I have so far are loaded. Since the deadline for entries is actually midnight tonight, it is possible I will get more skins. If you submit a skin after this post, do not post in this thread, merely make sure it's emailed to me and I'll get it in in the morning.

Correction to the Pumpkin skin previews - I goofed up a bit. Correct Previews are now loaded. My apologies.
BTW, the voting may now begin. You have until Nov 4th to vote for the skin of your choice.
I don't like any of them, but #2, Pumpkin gets my vote by a long shot.
Mine..... Might have a chance.... A very, very tiny one..... I didn't have any good ideas... That's.... The best I got for the halloween theme :P.

My vote goes to pumpkin, same reason as CB. I wouldn't ever want to use any of those skins, but #2 looks like a bit of work went into it.
It's funny how it is actually pretty easy to tell who's skin is made by who because of their styles... ;)
I vote for Pumpkin for great symmetry and style.

All artists have the option of publishing their skins after the contest is over. I believe most if not all of us do that.
Please make all future votes in this thread .

Looks like it's my turn to run the skin contest! XD
The Challenge is to create a skin based on a the theme of Halloween. All skinners will use the same theme. When you're done, you email your finished skin & all it's parts to the "referee". At the end of the time limit, the ref will post all the skins at the same time for voting. You may submit more than one entry. You may use any of the standard ThinkTanks tanks.
Please post below if you are interested in competing in this challenge.
Due Date: 10/30/2006 (this is a shorter than normal time limit - sorry)

Referee:

Submission Rules:
0. Email your submission to PTT.Skin.Contest@gmail.com
1. Subject title on email must read, "Skin Challenge #4"
2. Email must include the name of your skin design.
3. Email must also include your PTT or TT name.
4. Must not have name on skin any where please.
5. Must include all the parts for the skin.(Parts to make or mod to be turned in : Tank,Brain,Brainjar,Brainglass & Tanktreads 01 thru 07)
6. Previews of your skin. Preview Rules:
- No more than 4 Previews, each numbered from 1 - 4
- Each preview limited to 512x512 in size (note: upgraded from 256x256)
- Each preview may show only one view of your tank (no collages)
- No animations (unless the animation is used as part of the skin itself)
- Each preview may not include anything other than a view of the tank. No logos, names or descriptions of any kind.
Voting:
Each skin will be named by it's Tank skin name, given to it by the artist. The Referee will post the previews of each skin as provided by the artist, along with the name of the skin. The artist's name will be withheld. All votes will be collected in this thread. Each person will be allowed one vote - the Referee will ensure that no one uses aliases to place multiple votes. The Referee may not vote. The winner will be the creator of the skin that collected the most votes. In case of a tie, the Referee will cast the deciding vote. If the Referee is also a contestant, he may not cast a vote for his own entries (unless all tied entries are his creations)
Prize:
The Winner will get to choose the theme for the next Skin Challenge.
