Means many thanks to all of you that I have come to know in this little world we know as planet think tanks. I am usually the first person to harp on those that say goodbye, so it's hypocritical for me to do this. But I have enjoyed the presence of many of you, and have found that there are actually intellectual people in the world who are trying to do some good and that there are some that are unafraid to engage the assumptions and beliefs that we as a society need to constantly look at with a critical eye.

I have found that the game has been a crutch in my present vocation and that there are many other things that I need to do besides invest more time in this great game. I've loved it, I think it's one of the best games that I have ever played, but time management is what it is, so it needs to go.

To all of the people that I have had some serious laughs with, I will miss the jokes and the humor, the thematic names and the good clean fun that this game is known for.

I hope that I have been able to bring a different kind of voice to this community, and I know that I have challenged some of you and your beliefs, as you have challenged mine. If I have upset some of you, I apologize. Remember that there are a whole multitude of people out there who know nothing of the issues that we have discussed, so take the time to educate your community and get to know them on a deeper level. It is the community that brings about change, teach people to talk to one another with honor and respect and to treat one another as created human beings.

I'm chuckling about this thread. I saw Memphis playing in the last month or so...

Check the dates. The thread started Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 10:51:28 AM. There were posts to it, then it sat until April.

There were posts for about ten days. Then the thread sat until

Then there were some "welcome back" posts, until the thread went to page two. The original message got the top of the page, and then the posts either are the T-shirt, or Racer letting us know there isn't a fizzle happening.

Welcome back, Memphis! It's always a pleasure to see ya in game. If I tried to leave TT, I doubt I'd last as long as you. I'm glad to see the return of a real class act.

Memphis bumped his own thread in a transparent attempt to try to wring more ego-feeding praise out of this community. Well, I'm not playing his game.

Memphis is a lousy scrummer, a sinner and has the wit of a 5 year old. His gum chewing antics have worn thin and I haven't seen him kick ass in months.

That means he's broken his "promise" to leave.
Meaning he's back, of course. He didn't want people to ignore that post and start saying goodbye when he's just coming back.
