Ishbuu has this idea when I was testing the Ion Cannon.

He said it would be cool if there was a mod where the dead tanks don't just disappear, they stay solid and show you just how many tanks have been wasted in the current fight. Very atmospheric!

Does anyone have ANY idea WHATSOEVER of how this can be acomplished?

Hello brain. Yes I thought of this idea and I figured out a way to simulate it. But im having a problem I was wondering if any1 knew what the variables are in referance to? I set the fadetime to 99999 and fadespeed to 0 but still no good. Any1 have any help ideas?

P.S. I figured out how to make the tanks invisible in the process ;)

Hmm the invisi tanks is really like a no tank at all code........ He he he. But it requires editing beyond most of your knowlage not trying to put you down I mean most of you dont have what it takes (literally) to do that brain I will tell ye.

Actually Marrik I recall ishbuu telling you how there can be only 6 numbers on each side of the decimal. XD so I dont really think he "owes" you anything you really "owe" him if you wanna be technical :'(

Marrik, I edited your code a bit. What you had wasn't quite the effect that Ish and I were looking for.

THIS is the code that we want:

 

Defaulttankfx.corpseflipspeed = 8;

Defaulttankfx.corpsesmoketime = 9999;

Defaulttankfx.corpsefadetime = 9999;

Defaulttankfx.corpsefadespeed = 0;

I thought "Dead Tanks" littering the map was the focus here.

I think you're trying for "invisible" Tanks? Though I dont know why exactly

Something that wud be kinda neat is if u cud make it look like a ghost or sumptin, like it looks faded and u can go thru it(if possible), just like a ghost. Of course this is just a thought. XD
