Who has been playing TT the longest?

When did you first play as a demo and when did you join?

I first tried it in early March after evaluating it for my 5 year old and became a member on 3/15 (PTT too).

I have an email receipt for purchasing ThinkTanks from April 26th, 2003, apparently the day it launched. I don't recall buying it on the first day! LOL! But I guess I liked it THAT much.

Still, I'm not the one playing it the longest. That honor may go to Dan MacDonald , who was part of the beta test team. That's if he still plays. Haven't seen Dan in the game in ages.

Dan Mac is using another name... Like Abadon?

Nope, he's a different DanMac, not the Dan MacDonald. Here's a recent post from Dan MacDonald (towards the end of the thread)

I purchased the game May 12, 2003, thanks to Decoy telling me about his great texture work in the game ;)

I know I'm nowhere near all the old timers, but thought I'd throw this in for laughs.

I picked up mine Oct. 17, 2003 but didn't go online until after Thanksgiving. I kept seeing the same guys in the server all the time and thought they must really be good, so I kept practicing. When I finally went online I kicked butt and felt pretty good about myself until I realized that Alaric, Julius, Attila & Genghis were bots. XD

BTW, any special games going on tonight? Will there be strippers? Is TG going to pop out of a cake?

Hehe. Don't know about strippers or TG popping out of a cake, but I know there will be some 1 year commemorative scrum games happening tonight at 12 Midnight EST (9 PM PST) I think PREY is hosting. At least he's the one who started the thread in the Leagues section, so I assume he will host.

Try to make it in sometime tonight. It's a bit late for me, but I'll be there for at least 1 game or so.

Monday, April 26, 2004 at 8:26:53 PM

I think I bought the game on august 27.

Just in time to catch all the vets before some of 'em could take off.

I just tracked down my email receipt. 11/11/2003...seems longer than that....played as a demo (never online) for a month b4 that...cant imagine I'll be around to stay a full year unless a lot of things change.

I only lasted 2 days as a demo before I shelled out the 20 clams on 8/19. Unlike Merv I did not have the fortitude to hang out playing scrum in a medium...

I bought the game back in August of 2003. I played for a month or two as Hunk O'Junk. Then I didn't touch the game until a couple months ago when I came back as MonkeeMan. :)

I got the demo from RealOne arcade back in September. I was off and on for a while and didn't make the investment until November. But even then, I didn't start really playing until February.

It was free, because I have a membership with RealOne arcades gamepass. I get 1 free game a month. Actually, the membership is $6 a month, so it's more of a substancial discount.

I bought it sometime in July 2003, and played as a demo (DEMO (Racer44) for a week before.
