I couldn't find the old thread even after Google-ing for it.

"My family is adopting an Ethiopian Family of four.
this is what one of the agency workers says about the family:"

The Belete family is absolutely charming! I met them in June and really liked them. It's quite a touching story. The father has died, the mother is very ill and the 13 year old sister basically cares for all the kids and her dying mother as well. They really need a family. The oldest girl is Shitaye, about 13 years old. The only boy is Esayas and he is about 12. He is in 7th grade and so is Shitaye. By Ethiopian standards this means they are excellent students. The little girls are absolutely darling as you will see on the DVD. Sarah is about 5 and Tseganesh is about 4.

(we think that Sarah is 6 instead of 5.)

Let me explain what happened for the people with smaller time.

We were adopting a family of 4 the mom wanted to keep the littler two and we prayed that the Lords will (will) happen. My mom and I wanted a boy we saw pictures of. (our case worker sent us some pictures of other kids when we found out we didn't get the little two. We went to a conference and we got a video of the boy we wanted. My dad gave in and we decided to get him... Not we found out we got the little two girls. If you want more details click on the link!

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

Sorry, Jacob.

I read the post and just didn't know how to respond. It was overwhelming to imagine all the change that adopting so many at one time will create. (and the weather and work are really a lot right now)

First, good for your family. I hope you find adding the new members to be a pretty smooth process. I hope that the step of faith your parents are taking becomes a real blessing to the adopted ones.

I found your dad's blog interesting, and it was nice to see how he describes you.

I'll lift you guys up in my prayers, and hope the Lord really shows himself through this. I'd be glad to hear more about how it goes.
