That's what I did for my last tank except I added a lot more stuff. And I did desaturate on the reflective image.

At least if you want to create the real deal. Something that looks and acts like chrome reflecting it's environment.
Here's a link to a great tutorial on the subject. You'll have to navigate to the Photoshop section and look up "Reflective Chrome".
