@KBC - Ahhh, someone noticed. :)
The family and I visited a friend in the metro DC area last week and it was great! Too great as a matter of fact. Coming back to "Podunk, WV" has been a bit of a drag. We really liked the museums, the metro, the shops, the faster pace, the diversity, the intelligence and so forth. So much so we're considering moving up there when the time and opportunity are right. The trip also had a big impact on the Mrs and I in ways we hadn't considered and we're inspired to start following those dreams we put on the backburner so long ago. I've also undergone a personal change which I'm sure will be reflected here soon enough. So, yes, a nice vacation indeed.

@Rogue - We stayed with a friend in Mclean, VA. The thing that scared us most was housing prices since the cost of living seemed about the same as where we are now. So a few housing tips wouldn't hurt.
@44 - Maybe so. I'm not sure since I'm still trying to figure it out. A lot of things happened over the past week in addition to a vacation. I think my brain's opened up in a new way. Guess we'll see.

How embarrassing and flattering! Im positively gushing...positively. Here's da goods: I'm back in the saddle in two days...i should suck even more than I normally suck, because I've had two 1/2 months off....so I'll be playing anonymously until the sh*t falls off my game...
And might I make a recommendation...taking some time off from this game is a very good idea...i've read through the forums a couple times....pretty lame lately. I hope I don't get addicted again. We all get so petty, me especially...
