To be honest, I'm not entirely certain and it is something I am looking into. If you figure out what is actually causing the bots to clone - or circumstances under which it happens, is it mid-game? Just after a round ended? Only at the start of a new game? Any information will help.

I joined a CTF game tonight and a 2nd MJ tank dropped in beside me. Only happened when I joined the game. A couple of spawns later, I took time to kill the "clone". It went away but the "press spacebar" message appeared on my screen as though I had been killed. I hit the space bar a couple of times and the message went away after a minute or so. I noticed the other team also had "clones" sitting in the spawn area.
I didn't see another MJ clone in the next game. I dropped out and came back a little later and did not have a clone then either. Randomly occuring bug? Don't you just love em! ;)

I think the clones are an unexpected BONUS feature. I think it was EchoHawk I saw had them all lined up and was pushing them into the Goal. You can even pass them the scrum in the Goal and go defend. Be carefull when you kill your own color clones though cause it will kick you out.
Some suggested improvements ot this feature; be able to control both clones at once like a "double" tank, or be able to switch between clones!! XD
Or a Power up could be that 3 clones go in front of you!

I was just playing and I think I saw it when:
1. A player tries to enter the game (gets to the loading datablocks/objects screen)
2. The player gets an error to disconect from the server (runtime error, visual C++ error, fatal error, [BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH :S :[ ])
3. The bot will start exiting and (guessing from my programming experience) will make the game think it was exited but its still there
4. Since the player recieves the error and doesn't enter, the game adds back the bot
5. Voila, you get two bots (one that was there from before that didn't exit properly, and one that entered when the player stopped loading)

What's with the duplicate bots that show up sometimes? There'll actually be 2 Attila the Hum bots running around, etc. In Survivor last night, there was one (Alaric I think) that existed simultaneously as a Blue and Green bot. At the start of a new round, the Green one would *start* as a Green, but if you killed him, you were killed and moved over to Green as a fratricide!
