I didn't forget about it my friend. The first thing I did yesterday when I got up was put my Flag up at half mass ! Then I sat there for about 5 minutes saying a prayer for all those we lost and praying that that never happens again. They had a bunch of shows on TV last night also on the History & Discover Channels on 9/11 :(

NEVER FORGET!
It is far from forgotten, Cloud, but recent events may have distracted us toward other directions as far as threads go. I did think of posting but wasn't online much this weekend.
Wasnt yesterday the memorial of 9/11?
I had nightmares all night stange enough... :(
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
Every time I take a plane ride I remember those who died. I always get scared, and hope I won't die too.
Dear Lord,
Please may all the souls rest in peace and never be forgotton. Amen
Curious to know as to whether security in the States has actually increased since 911. I know that after such tragic events as 911, there is a lot of smoke screen, but I doubt that citizens of America are any more safer!!

When is anything around here NOT steeped in controversy? %) Everybody has their own personal vision of what the memorial should comemorate, and any other plan is Wrong.
As for forgetting 9/11 - not likely. But, as has been stated above, there's not a lot more to say that hasn't already been said.
People remember 9/11, we're just tired of giving the terrorists a giggle when we get all mopey each year.
There have been many deaths in the history of America. Rest assured, this one's going into the history books with the rest of them. But, it's time to shake it off and move on. We have other things to be concerned about. War, hurricanes, etc.

I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find tupperware hidden in the woods... What do YOU do?
Those damn non american bastards! I'LL NEVER FORGET!!! MY GRAND DADDY SERVED THE WW2 AND RAISED the FLAG AT IWO JIMA WITH HIS SQUAD!!!! HES A REAL AMERICAN HERO!
RVD,
You are a typical DEMO... Loud, obnoxious, and unthoughtful.
I am non-american, so what is it you are saying about me??? You might want to take that back you racist pig!!
SSMe
You may want to rethink this response. I think you meant to call RVD a "nationalist" pig, not racist (unless all non-american's are one race). -Rabban

and I still reamember me not having much of a happy birthday when the towers fell :( :(
You can never forget about such a terrible event. Heck, it is going to be in history books some day! The thing is, people may seem like they forgot about it and they may actually want to only because of all the grief it brings them to think about. But truly, no one can forget about it. It is just one of those things that our nation will have to bare and eventually rebuild from.
