These kinds of threads will get you into a lot of trouble, Cloud. I should know! Some call them Dopey...

Anyway, here is MY oppinion and remember...it's based on MY experience, not your's or anyone else's!!!
I've been a player for 10 months now...so I have a lot of experience...

As for BMer, I don't play enough battlemode to know for sure, but judging the shooting prowess of players in scrum games, I would have to say Fatlips is still the top tank killer...the professor is right there too.

For scrum, let's separate it into indie scrum and team scrum...ok?
Best Indie scrummer today (not of all time or even for the month...just right now): memphis

Best Team Scrummer: Hands down...Tally Ho. He is the Michael Jordan of TT. He elevates every teammates game. Sure, he will rip you a new one when you screw up (as other elites do), but the thing that separates the Ho from everyone else is the way he keeps everyone's morale high and concentration sharp and he maintains a positive vibe by complimenting good efforts very often (but never over does it). He also gives tips and suggestions without insulting players either. Here's an example: I stole the scrum and headed towards the goal but noticed 3 opponents camping. Instead of plowing ahead and giving up and easy goal, I back tracked and passed it off. Ho sees what is a standard move but still takes the time to say "gj pai for NOT going for it!". Class act... Besides all that, he can score every possible way there is to score. His defense is top notch too.

Best all around scrummer? Again, Tally Ho... Who can dominate both types of games... When he doesn't spend too much time chatting like a little school girl! :)

I'd say Lone for Scrum and I dunno for bm since I haven't bmed in a while... %)

I really don't think Tally is the top scrummer, I've scrummed with him and he actually LOST! It was oon the PTT TS server if that matters...

Fo Fo Fo Fo is tha best scrumma fo shizzle (not fi)

I am proud of my choices and know what I am talking about. Most (never all) will agree with me about Tally Ho...
Bolo knows it too. Ho is his number one rival (there are tons of threads that prove this heated rivalry).

Ho and I have a friendly and humerous rivalry. Its fun. We know each other's skills...

@Bolo
Exactly. I enjoy the witty bantor between you two elites. It's trash talking at its best. You can sense the mutual respect for each other's game too.

Aaaah, lovely post pai, I do appreciate your comments....
more later.

I also enjoy it: "YOU GOT BOLOED!" (No offense, Tally.)

Ranking people is a poor way of discussing skills. There are some very good players that I would proably place in tiers, that is to say, a group of excellent players that I think are the *best* most of the time. There are many good players... Many that will not appear here. They are quality through and through... But, you have to pick some that are at the best *most* of the time.

For scrum, which I admit I am still learning who plays well, etc. I would say the following people would be in that top tier of players:

Tally, Bolo, Jangles, Nuts!, Reagent X, Hugo, MajorPain, Lonewolf, Ben.... Im sure there are others Im missing - but these are the players that I see that are consistently great most of the time in team scrum.

In BM:Lep, prof, dash, willow, au, stan, crow, nuts, fatlips, shrike, Monkey, rogue, moe.

Again, I have many friends that are excellent - I consider them very good and excellent team players. But responding to this thread, here are my tops.

@supra
Excellent list. Also agree about "most of the time".... So true. Even the best have their mediocre moments, just as mediocre players have excellent moments.

I don't believe Evil*Twin has been mentioned yet for scrum. I don't think he's the best, but he's up there.

I've heard of this guy named "NEVA DIE". I hear he's pretty good, one of the most underrated players too. %)
