Hey all,
Comair flight 5191 crashed 1/2 mile from take off at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington Kentucky killing 49 people. The lone survivor is the co-pilot who is in critical condition.
The airport is about 50 minutes from my house and I don't believe any friends or family were on the flight.
Keep everyone in your prayers.. :(

Yea - aparently they are working on getting the "black box" a device that is on every plane that basically records what is happening on a plane. Authorities use black boxes to determine what went wrong on a plan that crashed.

Really sad, we were on a good 5-year streak without a major air accident too. :(

I wonder why the recorders are called "Black Boxes"? They're usually orange.

As for the crash, very sad, and scary that the pilot attempted to take off from a 3500-foot runway.
