On my time !
My only roll in this was to collect the submissions and post them.
But due to the way some pictures were taking by the Artist I had to either edit them or redo them, to try and hide who did it !

its like 29.99 and has a 30 day trial period if you want to check it out.

It would be nice to have a little more feedback on this.
I think we're up to 12 now, but yes, so far the responses are much lower than I'd hoped for.
UPDATE: There, that oughtta help. The problem may be that there was no external flag letting people know when the skins were posted, or that lots of folks don't regularly check the Skins forum. I've posted a "Come Vote" thread in General with a link.

No, I don't. I'll either post it on my site and/or here in the skin library.
And yes, mine is the heavy. I also think of it as a personal best since everything is made from scratch. I didn't use any premade textures or patterns, just the tools within Photoshop. I spent a lot of time working it out in my head and there were a few permutations before I finally got on the right track. I also like it since its very realistic in my book, since it could be a steel tank that has just driven through a lava field and into a snowstorm, which is why the metal is super heated in the rear, but frozen up front. Perhaps "Frantic Snowstorm" would have conveyed that better, but the lava planet from Star Wars III is what came to mind first and I liked the idea of a crossover theme.
Anyway, a very satisfying skin for me since I didn't take any short cuts and proved to myself that I do have some skills after all.
And Sersh was correct is his guess, but incorrect in his reasons (other than it was the only heavy tank).

Well for one I don't have any of those but I'm not scared to say which was mine.
If you have looked at each skinner and what they have done in the past you can pretty much tell who's is who's,

When I said "balls" I meant it as a joke. Didn't want you to take it personally.
I thought all the skins were nice, some skins needed more votes than others (which in this case didn't happen)

I gotta say, my fish intuition was wrong. I had everybodies skin guessed, except I had DocSaw's and TMO's switched.
I enjoyed seeing the layouts, the previews don't show as much of the art.
Great work everyone.
About meteor: I used a little more abstract interpretation of "fire and ice", with a meteor being a ball of ice traveling through space, that burns up when it hits our atmosphere. I used alot of c&p, but I didn't just slap it on there. Alot of time went into resizing and lining up the pics. Most of the skin is original, though.
This contest was alot of fun, and I'm glad it was so successful. PTT is wicked awesome.
Can't wait to find out the next theme.

I HEREBY ISSUE A SKIN CHALLENGE TO ALL SKINNERS: XD
The Challenge is to create a skin based on a theme I will give you. All skinners will use the same theme. When you're done, you email your finished skin to the "referee". At the end of the time limit, the ref will post all the skins at the same time for voting. You may submit more than one entry.

Submission Rules:
1. Subject title on email must read, "Skin Challenge #1"
2. Email must include the name of your skin design.
3. Email must also include your PTT or TT name.
4. Include preview pictures - these will be used in the voting.
Voting:
Each skin will be named by it's artist. The Referee will post the previews of each skin as provided by the artist, along with the name of the skin. The artist's name will be withheld. All votes will be collected in this thread. Each person will be allowed one vote - the Referee will ensure that no one uses aliases to place multiple votes. The Referee may not vote. The winner will be the creator of the skin that collected the most votes. In case of a tie, the Referee will cast the deciding vote.
Prize:
The Winner of the Advanced category will get to choose the theme for Skin Challenge #2.
