This is the most disturbing thing I saw when I was making a site for my pking team in runescape when I wanted to change the background,I looked in the background bank,looked in metal and near the top of the list was this:

Make a website of your own and look in the background bank,then metal and you'll find the +'s that raban put on his heavy skin!

Hey! You know a lot of people you things off the internet. So what if they do. They make great skins. DrSaw & Rabban have also made other skins that were not from the internet. Lets see how you would like if people go around saying Crap about your skins. DrSawbones and Rabban are two very respected members. So I suggest you shut up!

And they're basic patterns. Just Google 'em and you'll come up with lotsa k3w1 image results.

I know their great skins,im not saying their bad but its shocking that its so easy to make WOW! Facter skins!

Probably all the strange shiny crap. I could probably make a better skin in 2 seconds just by not spending all that time on blue blobs.. ;)

Um, why would you go and make texture when they are already available. It's not the vreatiion of the textures that make the difference it how they are assebled and compliment each other in the scheme of the tank skin.

The brain bucket, treads, smooth crossover lines, colors that compliment each other, and great creativity will make a great skin. I don't know too many people that would make their own textures, and if the do it's probably a Eyecandy®, or Photoshop® filter.

Anyone can have access to paint, but those who have great creative ideas set themselves apart form the rest.

Sawbones is a TOPSSHELF skinner. Home made textures or not.

Withought Internet Textures, Most if not all skins would be crappy, no 1 creates this textures (wether they r good or not)

No one creates their own Textures (non that I can tell you will look good) wether they use textures abailavle to them in a graphics editor program, or those abailavle in the internet.

Who knew they used A WEBSITE MAKER to get a texture,still no offense for the love of creamed mushrooms! :'(

I mean,they should use YAHOO! Search To get textures,but google dident find very good results when I tried!

Legion...the word "busted" is probably a bit mis-leading.

By the way - have you ever seen an artist that made their own paint? A classical pianist make their own piano?

You've come a long way in your technical skinning knowledge...it would be a shame to see that ignored because you're misunderstood.

I don't care how he made them. I have nothing but Rabban skins on my Tanks. The Beast, the 73 Volkswagen and blue flame. I like their visibility and they make me feel all righteous and stuff. Aren't we all made out of pre-existing stuff anyway? Uh oh - worms everywhere.

Ya see, we usually don't make textures from scratch, though I've never used the "background bank" mentioned either. My metal tank was based on some sheet metal I found via Google and I added custom rivets to it and other bits as well.

We all have the same tools and materials to work with, but all our skins aren't the same, are they? Give me a piece of wood and a bucket of nails and I'm lucky to make a crate, while a skilled carpenter can make anything he wants. Give some skinners the same starting tools and some make art and others make poo (and some start flinging it).
