Hello all.

I wanted to ask this for a long time. Who is v-I-c and why is his server open that is always at the bottom of the list? This v-I-cfellow has launched his server from the beginning of the game! I have never seen his server ever go down. He has two ordinary bots and his server is mostly quiet and stable. Is it possible for a person to keep his/her server up for 2 years?!

For your information, v-I-c-'s dedicated iBook is shown below (highlighted in grey):

Not sure if anybody knows this person or not, but would like more information. :)

Thanks.

I've wondered the same thing myself. I have seen the list without it in there, but it usually is up.

Who is vic? I have a 600 Mhz iBook, but don't run a server on it. (Didn't think it would work well...)

If more than 2 are there it slows down alot! CPU not strong enough or his bandwidth.... No other info on him , sorry. :(

I have had a couple good scrum games in there, actually...

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

I estimate that TT uses less than 10% of Vic's 600 Mhz processor. It is well up to the task of dedicated serving. I suspect that he has it on a wireless connection (which is vulnerable to inconsistent performance not to mention a minimum 20-30 extra ms). The ping displayed in the game console can be considerably higher than the in-game ping.

I'd bet V-I-c is some initial for other means, and the hoster of the server could range from anyone to anything. It could be a sponsor for Vick's VapoRub!

Strange enough is it may be, he actually has signed on PTT in the past. However, he has no record of responding or creating anything from the day he singed on PTT. I'm not sure who v-I-c- is, but I'm predicting he is no longer on the computer that he launches his server. Had a couple of scrum games in there, pretty nice and quiet server in my opinion.
