As for question 2....
impossible
Some people were thinking they could do question 2 for ThinkTanks 2. Not sure if BraveTree will know since they don't check the forums often enough.

Well
I've been meaning to try this.
In the shapes directory create a new folder named what ever.
add The Tank01.dts and Tank01.jpg(This should be the skin)
In the mission you want this to be in (open it with notepad) at the bottom (after Object write end.)put,
LightTank.shapeFile = "game/data/shapes/THE NAME OF THE NEW FOLDER YOU CREATED!!
/tank01.dts";
Not sure If this will work been waiting for someone to ask so I could try it out.

The place to start looking is here. Team Skins.
Link should take you to page 11 of that thread. Scroll down to -z-'s post.

1. I've heard something about a Talking Bots Script. I've seen it on PTT servers. Does it exist? If so, where can I get it?
2. Is there some way/script to be able to see the skins other people are using on online servers (i.e., if someone is using a chrome tank on a server and you are using the normal skins, you are still able to see their chrome skin)? I'm guessing there isn't because that would be kind of like hacking into their computer to get their skin files. I still have hope, though... :)
Also, if there isn't a way to do this, aren't team/army skins rendered almost useless (no offense to those who use them :) , and they do look really cool)? If you have your team skin saved as tank01.jpg, you will see everyone in your team skin regardless if they are in your team/army. Also, only your team members will see you in the team skin, and even they will see everyone else in the team skin; everybody else will see you in the skins they have on their computers.
Thanks, guys.
