Awhile back it was decided that it is better to post a screenie of a tank displaying a new skin instead of just posting the skin here in the forums. This way the other players get a better idea of how the skin will look on their tank and help them decide if they want to download it and use it. Since the skin maps to a 3D object, a 2D representation just doesn't do a new skin justice. Not that its a requirement or anything, but if skinners really want people to appreciate their work to the fullest, a sceenie is the best way to go. B)
