Hi, got a quick question...............

When in TGE I can re-size an object (stretch, compress etc) no problem. However when I load the mod into TT the re-sized object reverts to its original size. I have checked the scale factors in the.mis and they match those in TGE.

Am I missing something? Can objects be re-sized? If so can anyone tell me how to keep the size of the object?

Thanks

Daz

I think it all depends on the.dts file. I have noticed some scale and somt don't. I have not found a common element for success of faliure. I've even tried modifying the scale size in the mission file. The collssion size scaled but the visual element was the smaller size. So I would actually bump into tthe object before I shoulsd have.

^ Nap yes tried that as well with the same result :[

So it seems that re-sizing is not possible, damm shame :(

Oh well back to the drawing board or maybe blender which I have tried and its a nightmare.............

Any offers to make me 2 VERY basic square shapes? Will do anythiong I can in return.

You can't change objects scale size on TGE. The scaled objects will change back to normal in TT.
You can change the scale size of objects manually from the mission file. The scaled objects can create odd shadows and invisible walls. You have to change some of the objects rotation values to get it scaled (third or last I recall).

But I tell you why you shouldn't change the scale: If you change the scale size, you can shoot through the object. IMO that's very bad and unrealistic. Plus the odd shadow and invisible wall which you may get.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
