I have tried using mod wizard for making default terrains more interesting, but the mis file never actually saves if it helps for your answer, I have a mac on OS 10.4
I would be open to any solutions.

If it is saving as MWa_e.mis I know exactly what the problem is. Is it?

Example: If you edited Medulla Mesa (TT1_1) rename the modwiz file to TT1_1, but be sure to make a backup file of TT1_1 if u ever want to change back.

I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

What it says is TT1_1.mis has been saved, but it isn't saved
what about that

It will say MW1_1.mis is saved,
But as NEVA DIE Has posted it may say MWa_e.mis which is what mine says. I don't know why but maybe NEVA will share the info.

You must remove all previous versions of ModWizard off of your game before trying the new version.
Also, ACAS seems to like messing with the "CTRL S" bind so that may be a problem as well.

If you are going to save a MOD as TT1_1.mis, you must first take the REAL TT1_1.mis, which is Medulla Mesa, out of your mission folder. Your MOD will now save as what you want. Change the mission name of your MOD, then put the Medulla Mesa map back into your mission folder.
