We have been getting some pretty extreme temp for our area... In PA, it has been, like, 90 degreese... But that is not the killer. The dew point is normally around 80 dgrees! Thats is like, what it is in the rain forest man... Come out from worjin out and its like ::BAM!:: can't breathe... Can't imagine over 100 though :S

Well yes it does hit 120 a couple of days in usually june- july here but its usually 110 and up here.And if you havent figured out, I live in Lake Havasu City, arizona!! Our record here is 128 degrees btw

Yes, I'm BACK! (but only with intermittnent computer access... :'( ) And dammit, I'm freakin' glad. It's been a VERY bumpy road. When I left for the 2005 BSA Jamboree, I thought I saw the word 'hell' in a shop window. Anyways, the way there wasn't too bad. I went to Hershey Park, and just barely missed a live 3 Doors Down performance with Staind and Breaking Benjamin. Oh well... That sucked. I went to my first steel and wood roller coasters. For free. The next day, I went touring in Washington, DC with a sick stomach from all the chocolate.
When I got to the actual Jamboree, I was an official redneck. Literally. I was peeling. I had to endure... Ahem, enjoy ... 100 F "average" temperatures, a newspaper purely incapable of spelling "John" correctly, and a threat of George Bush. What a nukeelar day!
After Thursday, a cold front moved in. The temp range was from 66 to 88 F. Not bad. But hell frozen over is still hell. There were: an absurd "buddy system", annoyed scoutmasters because we weren't doing our tasks, beef stew, and very... Persistent... Patch traders ready to rip people off at the drop of a hat.

Anyways, I've been to hell in a bucket. At least I'm enjoying the ride... (ignore Grateful Dead reference) And after 9 days there, I realize that n00b-infested forums aren't so bad after all. So from now on, I'll turn newbies into solid community members. Just email me or post a thread, and I'll get you started.
PS: We set a record! 9 people (4 for sure) died in the first 2 days! 4 erected a dining fly near a power line, [possibly]1 showered in a T-storm, and [possibly] 4 died of dehydration.
