Ok it keeps coming back mcaffes new update detects malware and all other stuff now yay XD
but this location
C:System Volume Information\_restore{B2118C24-6640-4C7A-BA2
this is a potentially unwanted program it keeps restoring so its declared not wanted when I search for the fil naame and location it says unauthrized on hard disk...
I don't know another way to manualy destroy it any tips???
also can some one lookk up the file name and see what it does I think it's from gamespy again I deleted 20 of there software already I hate that the catch of installing and running a game is to infect ur pc!

Hey after quick noticing that location is jammed pack or the program is changign name because its a different file name form the same location....

Thats bad man, I had that once ages ago, possibly a Trojan if it's infectng you're system files, get a firewall and disable any unknown programs access to the internet, that way it will nt affect your computer...otherwise if you want totally rid uninstall any programs it may have been bundled with, if that doesn't work only other thing is to do a system restore :(

Also I forgot to add delete any unknown registry entries.
go to start-->Run-->type in regedit and press enter, if that doesn't open you most definately have a serious infection, most up to date trojans and malware disable the regedit facility, if that fails go to System folder and copy the regedit.exe to your desktop, rename it, that way the trojan cannot recognise it as the registy editor, that works most of the time.

I can do regedit thanks but I wanna know is there loads files in there or does th virus change filr type every time detroyed?
