Lag has been a problem for many of us that are trying to host servers for the TT community. Can you all tell us how much bandwidth is needed for non-laggy matches from the server point of view? This meaning how much average bandwidth is needed for non-laggy communication per client connection to a TT Server (downlink) and how much is needed for the TT Server to connect with the client player (uplink)? Once this can be established, I think many of us who wants to host can then determine if it is affordable to upgrade our broadband connections in order to host non-laggy games.
Lastly, can I assume that you all are compressing the battle datastream to allow for lower bandwidth needs? If not, can this be a feature option in the future?
