Actually, I grew up in Sarnia, Ontario, which is just across the river from Port Huron. I miss Sonny Elliott doing the weather and the Saturday movie with Sir Graves Ghastly.

Man, who could forget the Ghoul? Heckuva singing voice though.

Also remember sitting through the Kenny Everett Video Show, waiting for Benny Hill to come on Channel 50. Then they put on that Australian women's prison show (Prisoner Cellblock H) instead and that was worse. Might as well just watch the news. Later they had the Stooges at 11:30, but you had to sit through Laurel and Hardy to get there. They made you earn your entertainment on Channel 50.

Remember Bill Kennedy, who used to host the afternoon movie during the week? I wonder what happened to that guy. He was just awful. He used to give away the endings to movies because he figured everybody had seen them already.
