I was just wondering if bt could be bought out by some larger company? Like bungie got bought out by Microsoft.

Yes, we certainly could be bought out by a larger company. I don't know why any big company would want to buy us.. But it is certainly possible for one to do so.

If someone does buy bt, pls keep your name and power of final decisions.

And dont foreget the ptt peolpe...

Companies that usually buy other small companies are the big money hungry kind. Busy making games like "Super laser shooter" where your in this lame spaceship shooting lasers at evil robot rocks that shoot you too,and they'll charge ya $45 for it too. Complete with lame old arcade sound effects.

Not to mention TT will never get an update in decades.

That's why I like small companies,quality stuff,great games,awesome prices.

Whatever you guys do, try to stay indie. The big co's are often out of touch with the end consumer, unlike you guys.
There are some of us in Mac-land that will never forget or completely forgive Bungie for the path they chose.

Yes pls stay small. The smaller buisness are the better the games are and more updates and they even have time to talk to us!

Halo sucks compaired to TT. Halo is all graphics while TT is all gameplay. It even made me go out and get an Atari 2600 with Combat!

Huh are you talking about bungee jumping? :)

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Yeah... Bungie helped make Weekend Warrior... 10 years ago, the first ever ENTIRELY 3D game (TT isn't entirely 3D)... But then Bungie got bought out... Anyway, if BraveTree got bought out by microsoft, that would be a bad image for GarageGames (Indie games publisher), and a bad image for the Torque Game Engine (Indie game development studio).

After a long discussion at lunch, this is apparently what the new offices will look like:

Heh. I think it would be worse for BT to get bought by MS than the Empire. Lesser of two evils to me.
