I installed the new ModWizard (since the old version doesn't seem to work under the recent release of TTanks). I don't seem to be able to invoke it.

The script appears to load - it shuts off trace - but pressing M (or ctl-m or cmd-m or sft-m ) nor any other of the bound keys does anything.

Likely this has been answered before but being aged I keep forgetting what I am looking for when searching earlier posts.

Do you run any other scripts that use the same keys? You may want to check.

The mac modwizard is bogus.

Lol
The mac version was for the old version of Think Tanks... Before the Universal Binary thingy...
if you have the newest version of Think Tanks and a mac, you now run the same byte-code as windows and linux...

I re-named the link on the download page to make this clear a while back...

Yes, that is the version I installed. And since it is both closed source & turns of trace I cannot debug the problem.

Is there some particular reason that you shut off trace???

^ He closes the trace so people *cough* like me *cough* can't go around trying to find bugs (all I've found are fixed, and I, CS and Warfare have tested it thoroughly, but we never know... So better to be safe than sorry ;) )

What's wrong with people trying to find bugs? Isn't that a good thing?

@ Warfare: Can you email me the source for your chatlogger? There seems to be a bug in the part that logs people entering the server. I don't need that function since the dash codes do that anyway, so I would just need to get rid of that section of code.

Apparently there is one little bugger stull runnning free.

Since I have no other mod scripts running then the problem is localized either to ModWiz or its implementation on a G5 Mac and the problem is rendered unsolvable due to my inability to trace the code.

Do you have either the source or a copy of the object with trace enabeled?

No player :P finding bugs is not a good thing...
potentially if someone found a bug that allowed them to edit someone else's server, I would get the blame... Hence me making de-bugging as hard as possible for someone without the source...

Sluggy,
I have no source of anything anymore, the lack of my own PC kinda explains that...
once I get that back I can test a few things out...

Try commenting out all the other execs for your other utilities so MW is the only other thing executed and try changing the bind if you haven't
Also, the update checker might be causing MW from initializing all its wonderful stuff... So check your connection to www.radiatorgames.com/ThinkTanks/modder.php and make sure your firewall isnt being mean to TT...

I will e-mail you sluggy if I remember how to turn off trace without source...
I also never said my stuff was perfect, just good enough :P

BTW: player my chatlogger was open source... What are you asking? I remember finding the newest version of that on my PC before I lost access to it, once I get it back I shall host it again I think

I'm downloading the version from the scriptline site, which is the only one I can find. That version is closed.

Ah yes, the one on scriptline is sooooo old and buggy it's not even funny...
I had a cooler and newer version out but had discontinued it
when I get my PC back I'll put up the last one I had up, which was open source
