Ok, hello all, Cassie is very ill at the moment. She has a very hard flu. Docter says she has to stay in bed for at least 2 weeks.

But that is not what I would like to say.
I have filters installed, the Ignore-Script installed, Wordfilters installed, all work. I even have a whole e-mail/internet infiltrator installed, wich shows everything that she sees, and types on internet. And when I look to her e-mail-filters, she gets loads of LoveMails for someone anonymous. His e-mail is : anonymousTT@gmail.com and I e-mailed gmail about it, and they told me his alternative e-mail is: destroyer#NUMBER#@#PROVIDER#.com. Who-ever it does, please stop whit it.

I also see lots of swearing whitin ThinkTanks and PlanetThinkTanks. Does someone know a manner to filter it fully? If the admins read this, is there eny manner to get full PlanetThinkTanks filtered? If you're busy whit it, I would like to offer some $ (well ) for it.

Yea actually ChoronicIce, many ppl do actually swear on here. IN separate posts mind you, and in different threads. I have seen a curse word here and there many ties. SOme even by Nap, but not sever occasions. Most of the time, Mods delete that of which doesn't follow code of conduct. Now, onto TT. TT does have a wordfilter, ignorescript (if installed), etc. But that is just ab out it. There isn't any way to keep swearers out of the game. Many ppl swear in SW servers, and in prvate servers for that matter. Now in private servers, there are specific admins to watch over the game. GQ's server seems the most tame.Of course Roo's, Naps, wOOt's, Dash's, and of course GQ's are probably the best servers to join. I am not sure if you can monitor wat server she enters. But I would def. Recommend these.

I dont think it would be proper to post the email(s). Might be either embarrasing, harsh, etc. I dunno.

Destroyer may have done it. But he doesn't seem the type to do it.

I too, hopes that Cass gets better.

No disrespect meant to Cassies Dad, but I am a father of two boys and I would not let them visit forums.

I think this is a well moderated forum and you will be hard pressed to find swear words that are worse than you see on prime-time TV. But there ARE swear words here. There are also a lot of complex and controversial topics that are debated by some intelligent and passionate people... Again, even without the swear words, a lot of the topics in this forum are not for kids either.

In answer to your question, the best way to filter the profanity is your intervention. The moderators do the best they can, but this is a case of simple math, it is easier to have concerned parents limit the access of a few kids than it is to moderate the posts of more than 1000 members.

There is obviously a HUGE difference form someone using a common swear word and some of what gets passed through servers and some of the private email.

Personally I don't know why any parent would allow thier children to go into and Shockwave servers. Some of the things I have seen spoken to other is just inexcusable.

I'll be the first to admit I'll toss out a swearword here or there, usally when I'm disgusted and fed-up with hiw things are going.

Unfortunaley we have a community in which there are adults and children may converge on the same topic matter. As ^ stated, there very well may be clean content that is not appropriate for younger audiences. This is where you just need to either accept what the children may come across, or restrict your children from it all together.
There are just too many young people who blindly say what's on their minds without thinking about who might be looking on at the other end.

Personally, Most of my conversations and color comentary are in threads which are directed to people my own age. There's no way to monitor and restrict younger members who really should not be viewing what was posted.

It comes down to what is acceptable and what is not by the childs parent.

On the personal emails, I would hunt that person down and make sure they knew exactly how I felt regarding what they are sending my daughter. Even if that meant a personal vist to let them know they are not unnecessarily unreachable. I am very protective of my children, I WILL make that known up front.

BTW: I hope Cassie gets better soon. She seems like a real sweet kid. %)

Or something like that. I have a good memory so I doubt im making this up from my head. No hard feelings Des. As for the swearing, I agree we need to stop it. But seeing as -z- can't do much from china, it probably woudn't happen. I too hate the swearing, as my brother turned on the Child Filter. But luckily I guessed the Pass and turned it off. Hope this helps. ;)

I too am a kid. 13 to be exact. The language does make me ticked off. Ppl like Nap know they are cussing and are doing it for a reason. Now some people like demo's, dont take time to thnk about others so they curse away.

Yes, Mr. Van Gheluwe, I am also aggrivated by this cursing on PTT. I am probably one of the youngest and most unexposed members of PTT, and it makes me angry that my friends here are not trying to lead me down the path of righteousness.
