Ah soulmate. I don't neither want the ITunes... Haven't had QT, because of that for a quite time and have three TT movies unwatched. Have to try the alternative and maybe I get them watched someday... Thx for the reminder.
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
I, an otherwise devoted Mac head, am not down with that either Roo. I have used this software in the past to do things Quicktime doesn't:
I didn't want to download iTunes either, I already had an audio player I liked. There used to be a link to download QT by itself, but they seem to have gotten rid of it.
@BC,
That looks great. I will download the linux version and see how it does. You say it plays QT movies too?
@Roo,
Will it work with XMMS?

Ya! But when I went to QT to get the latest version they tried to foist ITunes on me
I don't want ITunes all I wanted was the codecs to play the PSL9 playoff movie
Ya! They bundled it so....................
I went here ------->link to plugins
There I found quicktime - alternative
Installed it and was able to launch the PSL9.mov in Windows medis player np
Thought I would share ;)
