What are some of the best underdog victories that you've been a part of in TT history, whether on the winning or losing side?
You know, games where the teams didn't seem to match up on paper and one side either had more players or just better talent on their side.

I ask because I was part of such an incredible underdog victory just last night. It was me, Baba and Abaddon vs HankstaTanksta, Get Some, Maverick and Kentuckykillblly. It was an amazing 3 on 4 battle where we somehow wound up on top 16-12! Baba lead the way with 7 goals, I had 6 and Abby had 3 excellent scores.
Every goal was a fight to the death and exciting, not many freebies for either side for some reason too! I've been on many victories teams where my team was undermanned, but usually the talent level is close. This was a clear case of the other side having more men and more talent combined, but we found a way to win and without much aid from spawns or freebies.

Note: Hanky might claim that he came late, but for the record he entered the game soon after it started and probably didn't know how young the game was... The score was only 2-0 in our favor I believe.

Well one time we were down 9-2... We ended up winning 11-9!

That's always baffling to me when a team can be getting crushed and then all of a sudden the game takes a 180 degree turn and the other team dominates. It's understandable when players join and/or leave because one player can totally change everything about a game. What always surprised me is how a game can change so dramatically when all of the players remain the same on both squads! How do that happen?

For example, in a big 5 on 5 team scrum game, my team roared out to an 8-0 lead against a team with Bolo and HansktaTanksta only to almost blow it as they scored 7 straight to make it 8-7! We scored the last 3 to seal the deal but man they made us soil ourselves!

I was alone w/ only bots on my side, up against nyar and some other good players. I only lost ::thinks:: about 20/39 though. For me, this is good! And I made a really good shot at nyar twice! XD

I had a nasty battle with my underpants once. The underpants won.

Experienced some more of those extreme underdog/outmanned games last night. Me, Pharmaceuticals, DJ_Breaka and MonkeeMan (I think) beat a stout team of six in a couple of matches! Playing down a man is one thing, but being down 2 men is very difficult! Especially when there were some great players like Wiz and Prey protecting the goal!!! It was a hoot!
There was someone named DUBYA on the other side who kept saying "We Bad!" every time they scored. By the end of the game, it took on an entirely different meaning! Lol....

The score was 15 to 1 in one game, till an odd 15 to 2 score ended the game. We never touched the ball. Sometimes the games happen that way. One team gets the ball and always has a clear path to the goal. I resigned to the fact, that the team could not play together. Two lagging distant players didn't help. Following games were also one sided. Max gave up pretty quick. No matter how hard you try and play, you are one player on a team. For these games you play hard and the rest of the team is a lag tag team. Ehh happens, especially on Dashes team server. You can still play for the good stop, or the flying moves. At least till you can't put up with it anymore.

Or you can just enjoy shooting PREY and ignore everything else...
