I was really surprised to see banshees name up there. I have only known him as a decent person and a tough player. He is NOT in my experience a troll. Im sure you will see many vets chime in to vindicate banshee. I beleive this is probably a case of stolen identity or maybe the kids were being naughty...whatever that means. Any case banshee deserves the benefit of the doubt here until it can be cleared up.

I don't want that shit head scum coming in my server....email me the IP's aswell.

To test this I suggest u log into Realms and see if you get in
Since this idiot has has the same IP for months but many names
I would say that you are in the clear

Banshee is a solid standup guy.
I'm sure one of the following is the reason:
1. He has a virus or spyware on his computer which is glomming on to outbound traffic.
2. His computer sent a malformed packet or a packet became malformed enroute to Roo's TT Server.
Note the port 28000 (Thinktanks) and the firewall rejected it as malformed packets are sometimes malicious
I've seen this malformed packet business before, the ones I've seen on my TT Server are not hack attempts
just the result of passing thru some crappy routers (AT&T has some dinosaur routers in Chicago that do this)

I've seen Banshee go around as Toast a couple of times. But this "Toast" guy you're talking about can't be Banshee.

Last night, early morning, a player named Toast came in. About half way through the second game it appeared as though he/she miss directed a private message....and it came through public chat as I am banshee....or it's banshee...whatever.
I don't know any of the above details other then what is still posted here.

Will the real Banshee please stand up, please stand up, please stand up?

OK I will remove the ban in 24 hrs but I would suggest that
you get and use AdAwareSE to clean out any spyware(www.lavasoft.com)
Its free for private use
I went over my Lappy with a fine tooth comb
re installing TT because it was broken
sub str errors etc
and removing a # of improper references in the registry
I also had to repair my wifes machine
perl stack overflow 0.0.0.0 etc
So it appears that something piggybacked your IP
right into my network - wife is rather upset
So if you would be so kind please check your machine
for Spyware before I remove your IP from the banlist

As far as hackers go....I need to mention that someone looked up my email here....(since I quit using it in august, the only place anyone can get it was here, until I learned I could change it myself...LOL)

....anyways, someone got my old email address and send me an email that asked me to post some images here for them because they were having problems.

The email had 2 files attached. The files were named Tank01_fractal.jpg. Both files were found to be virus laiden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, this person knew I was a skinner, and went to the trouble to look me up here, and then send me a phoney SOS by way of email and tank skins laced with virus.

Don't know much else other then it's a big waste of time trying to do anything about it. That is unless someone here knows pkidz@yahoo.com or something like that!

Well, that's my two cents for now.

It was a coincidence with This Cloud guy
I never directed anyone to spy on you or anyone else
Unfortunately My firewall has many (more than 8) incidents
piggy backed to this ip xx.xxx.xx.xx My laptop was screwed up
with unknown software installed and running
and I flipped out.
I quickly checked the userlog and found many references to that IP
under many names and thought the worst
After all with the admin circle clamping down on the trolls I thought I was a target
After all it was my idea (better than Ledendary publically posting ips)
Hopefully everyone has read my retraction and apology
And we can move on from here

Just a comment..on the hackers it is really getting out of hand they are so called cloning others
names and what not...who ever is doing this will take over my name and say just awful things to other
players swearing....sexual comments and such it is really bad trying to make the other players it was not
