I've spoken to so many people over the last few weeks who are really upset with the way TT and PTT is going. There is so much in fighting in armies, so many players going into other armies threads and starting a flame war.
I think it could be close to the time when all members take their army initials off their name, play together for fun (like we used to) and after a while start re-building armies with folks you trust and get along with.
This is all getting too serious!!!!!!!!! It's just a game, chill

All I tryed to do is help UF then dazzle comes up to me and gives me a hard time. :(

but y take out of are names I think it just show what your part of. But I wouldnt mind the fighting to stop.

^^ sometimes it is better off to leave others alone and let them fix their own problem. Also, you are trying to start another argue by bringing this up and spreading it elsewhere. The point of this thread is to bring people together to make TT a 'funner' and a better place to play in, not to start more arguing, pointing fingers at other people, or proving who is wrong. I advise you not to reply to this as I do not want to start anything. Just listen to what they said and dont argue.

Too much smack talking (no pun intended), and not enough wars being done. People need to relax. This is a game. It in no way shape or form has any effect on real life. Hey, in TT, I am not the greatest player by any stretch of the imagination, but in the real world, I dominate.

Check your misguided egos at the door and have fun.

Des you are a good pal of mine but you have to understand that there are adults that play here too. Everyone has issues at one time or another, we sort it out and move on, all this rubbish thats going on at the moment is really making me think about quitting TT, it's not fun anymore. It's all going pear shaped, and unless we all do something about it the game will be ruined for us all. I'm not getting on to you Des.

I agree that things have been rough and to many people take this game to serious, me included. I have changed that in myself now and have had more fun the last 2 days then ever before.
Des I do not think means any harm he just doesn't or hasn't learned when to voice his opinion yet. He makes himself look like a spammer and or trouble maker. But I really think he means well just goes over board with his choice of places to post a comment and or suggestion.
dj said something that really makes sense and that is sometimes it's better to "leave others alone and let them fix their own problem" But some just see it as a chance to stir the pot and make a post towards another star. Uncle smacky talks about "egos needing to be checked at the door", I think this is more the problem alot of us have, (me included). We do modding, skinning and we help alot of people do there stuff and we move up in our army and it just seems to get alot of us thinking we are the best and greatest there is and that we are not replaceable. We all know everyone is replaceable but we seem to forget that.
What UF has done over the last few days is correct alot of these issues and are moving in a new direction for the main purpose of getting back to having fun and not take all this so serious that it gets to be a challenge to just show up for meetings and such. I for one have taken major steps to make myself have more fun and be less serious (even in the shockwave servers) Today I played with my own imposter and had the best laugh watching this person struggle to be me.
I realized then that wow this person really looks up to me that they use my player name. What a compliment, I never took it that way before.. Thanks Belg, this was is a great thread...

First off I just want to say that this has been the worst week I have been involved with TT I have been part od things I could just do without, I love playing this game, modding it and making friends with the people who play it, but after this week I can tell ya..........................

Belgarion - nice idea but I dont think that will happen removing the armies, but I will say that is what some of the players who have left UF have done just gone back to being them selves and doing their own thing and have some fun again.

Smacky - agreed 100% you hit the mark right on. The problem with wars is that everyone is afraid to loose, yes someone will win but for real its a cartoon tank game, and I also wish that people would not take it so seriously like its not life and death is it? Well its not for me anyway

Breaka - again 100% correct, people should not try to solve problems for others unless asked to do so.

Des - I never came to you , I posted yes cos I like you - but dont want to see you become another DJ which is where you are going at the moment with your constant posting (1700 posts in 6 months!!!). Listen to Breaka he speaks the truth and you should listen and take note of what he says. As for ypur name I know I wind you up about it but man I cannot tell you how annoying it is when I am trying to admin a server and players come into the game with stupid symbols in their name, it ruins my play time having to change you around - I can change a normal player in 3 seconds to change a player with symbols takes up to 30 seconds - do you see the difference its just a pain in the neck and it take play time away from me thats all - on PTT use what you want but in game it make it hard to admin. I know there is a new script but most hosters do not like lots of script running as it slows down the server and we dont want that as we want fast fun games.

Is the game going pear shaped of course not stuff happens we all deal with and get on with it, its what you make it and all this talk of quitting TT is just not for me, anyway if you quit you will miss the best thing to happen to TT this year.
