Ive always been puzzled by games/programs that can guess any symbol/number that you THINK of. Seems totally impossible but apparently they guess right everytime unless you dont think of anything or change your number. Does anyone have a clue on how they read minds??

"ESP" Process and Algebraic Equivalent

Think of a number.
x

Add 18 to it.
x+18

Add 13 to it.
x+31

Subtract 14 from it.
x+17

Subtract 11 from it.
x+6

Add 11 to it.
x+17

Subtract the number you originally thought of.

X+17
-x
--------
17

"You're left with 17, aren't you?"

No offense but...
DOH!!!

^^ That number is always going to be a multiple of 9. If you notice, all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol each time.
It changes between rounds to make you think it's actually doing something but it really isn't.

ROFL! Dude, I was thinking of "gun" and it first guessed spraypaint, but then it guessed bazooka

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
