Hello fellow Tankers
I am writing this thread to educate the masses. Many already know this from experience.
Some people have just joined our community.

The public (shockwave) servers use original bots and are the entry point for DEMO players
While they play well they are not supervised.

The Admin Circle Approved servers are hosted and moderated by private citizens.
These servers contain uber bots and may contain new maps and missions
The ACA is a committee of all these Admins:
BC - NUTS! - Rooster - Dash - Lep - Napalm - CrapBlaster - ReagentX - Racer445 - KC - CuC - Repent
as well as a number of private admins designated individually to each server.

The rules are simple:
1. No cursing!
2. No abusing any other players
3. No Spamming!
4. No impostering known Players
5. No Team Killing!

Warning #1 - Most of these servers have chat loggers - curse and you will banned upon review
Warning#2 - Banned from the ACA = banned from the leagues. All League games are hosted on these servers
Warning#3 - 3 strikes = yer out - real permanent like...you pickin' up what I'm puttin' down?

ACA Member - When My server is up.

P.S - can someone update me with the latest banlist.cs ?

Just curious, but how can one add their server to the Admin Circle?

Not all servers are, or need to be in the circle. The circle is more of a communication groups that supports each other and the servers. For example, when players get unruley, that player will be warned, warned again, then booted. The reason this works is because most of the popular servers are owned by people in this community group. We currently share information with others who host thier own server but not everyone Admin all servers. If you want everyone in the circle to admin (or be capable of) your server you can send the informnation to any of us. But that does not mean you will be automatically in the circle, or be able to admin any server other than your own. Most admins in this group have a server dedicated 24X7.

Thanks for posting this thread, as I think it was hightime again to be done. There are new folks coming in all the time, and it's good for both the would be offenders, and the "nice folks" to know where the "protected" servers are...TerROOfic! XD

Just curious, but I am not allowed to "camp", nor can I go on "long runs" (I was told this two days ago.), nor can I hide on the edge of the terrain? Why, because it makes the game more difficult? Anything the game features allow you to do, is fine by me, and why not? Should I just get out of someone's way, and make it easier? Will shooting from behind be "cheating" next week? The ONLY thing that is cheating is if someone tampers with the game itself, in a way that makes them faster, bulletproof, etc. However, if the nature of the game allows something, why not? Oh, and cursing? Gee, I remember Rooster calling me an "asshole' for shaking my tanks turret at him when I scored (Didn't he say losing is a part of life or something? Perhaps he meant when someone else loses.), and this was otherwise unprovoked, as I said nothing during play! However, I was banned! Do some of you guys live in America? I'm sure glad you aren't lawmaker's, as I'd hate to see how you handle real power! Instead of banning people, why don't you just take your game and go home? Like this post, since it will no doubt be censored en toto, take it, go home, then, find a copy of the American constitution, read it, and try to aspire to those lofty goals, not petty little scrum goals and the nit-picking rules that get made up at the convenience of the 'admin of the day'.

Thankfully most of the trolls have been identified and are allready banned
So there has been a lull in ACA email activity

IF someone petitions you on PTT or privately for redemption contact the rest of us for
a roundhouse review

IF you or your admins have to ban someone let us know via email so its universal

IF another ACA host shares his pass with you do NOT give it to your admins
Passes are shared on a one to one basis - (host is accountable by reputation)
I keep a master list of my admins in case of leak or abuse - Remember ppls
can be tempted to the darkside so admins should be chosen very carefully

NOT everyone has everyones pass (too much to coordinate) Some have all
some have one. But we always share banlists and announce any actions taken
As well as review any who ask for a 2nd chance

Do you mind aproving my server I keep it nice and STRICK so far I banned that lil chip4 guy for saying the F <---- word! Got me mad!

I got the banlist from napalm, but I have a question: Can I email the password to you guys so you can patrol my server, and can I receive the info emails? Thanks :).

Also, I know you won't like this, but I am unbanning ggg aka Laffy Taffy from my server. Before you yell at me, let me explain why. You have proof that he has inpostered people, and I believe you. However, whenever I have played in a game with him, he has acted nicer and more mature than anyone else in the server. I think he might have changed. But if he does one more thing wrong, he will be banned.

^^^^^^^^ I so never posted that now wich MODERATOR is fooling with me!!!! :) I always get played with why me!! I bet a MODERATOR is gonna change up this post! XD

Oh, you mean in the last two weeks? I say this because I just found him impostering Reagent X and Iron Harrier.

It's pretty simple, if you don't want ggg banned don't give me the server password. If I have admin rights and he's there, he will be banned on the spot.

@ napalm: When was he impostering those two guys? If it was in the past month then I will ban him from my server. Like I said, he would have more chance and if he did anything wrong he would be banned. And I think he just blew it.

EDIT: Oh, and I rarely use any other names, but if I do I go under "pLaYa".

Yes it was in the last two weeks. I'm not sure if you recall the ggg post that were around asking whi I was so mean? (I of course have deleted them.) This was just after I found him posing as the two players mentioned above.

I know he's just a youngster but we have had this porblem and tried to address it. This kid acts like this has never happened and yet he has been asked several times to stop impersonating other people. He hasn't.

It's your server, of course under your control, and you can do as you wish.

All I'm saying is, as far as ACA is concerned, he's out and not coming back for at least 4-6 months.

Maybe he will earn his lesson, or at the very least, mature enough to know what's right, and what's' not.

While we're on the topic of aliases, I'm using some SOAD-based aliases (Tankative and Sweet Revenga in particular), but don't get me mixed up with St. Jimmy.

Racer445 kicked me because my ping he did. Why? 8(

Second, high ping = more lag for other players. Kicking you sped up everyone else. Deal with it.

Well, I'm sure a bunch of Tanty impostors will get banned... Lol. Tons of people are getting impostored...It's stupid, like developing computer viruses...It's malicious and takes up time, but it doesn't give you any money... It wouldn't be good even if it did, don't get me wrong here. It just strikes me that it's really a stupid thing to do.
