It seems that in every game in which he is playing he seems to either be swearing or disrespecting other players. Here is just one occasion, from yesterday..

Ok ppl I think there is a imposter honestly cause I was playin with the normal TES&M(MI/VT) when another TES came in it said TES&M(MI/VT).1 and the normal TES was still playin.All the other Tes said was the f word then he went. I think TES is unguelty. I rest my case
I've always wanted 2 do that.
p.s. I do not have a screeny I do not have a clue how to put screenies on PTT.

I met up with TES again, and like I said, despite all the evidence, I still think that's not TES.
Btw, Racer? You said you were going to ban TES's imposter from your server? Then why's the "nice" TES in there? Something tells me you banned the imposter, but the real one got in successfully. Problem solved.
And that thing about Syphon? Cassie's fault, not TES's.

I dont think syphon is TES, but TEs did join armys pretty fast as well as PTT, he started this cr*p about a month ago? About the same time he join PTT and then he stood up and confessed kinda quick, but watever, for me the "fake" tes is still out ther, and the real tes cood b the sae person, TEs, how many CPU's r in ur house? Do ur other familty members play? It may help, try playing in ur members acounts hoo do play, and see if they have ur name in ther, do ur family members watch u play?

Why does everyone not believe the picture he posted with 2 TES's? He could have faked it, but it could be real. Everyone just wants to see him get banned for some reason.

Ok..i just joined a server and TES was there,I got like 8 screenies but they all turned out black.but there were like 12 witnesses.

Funny they don't join any private servers that you are banned on.

@ Player,, I was there the day this all started and saw him, talked to him like a son, 3 times in a 10 hour period he said he understood, and not 3 minutes in a server with him I was snapping pic's of his foul launguage. He may be tring to change but no doubt hes behind his own impersonations. He will remain banned on my server for a very long time as I put my trust in the kid. I'm the one that originally told him to post an appoligy for dammage control. After his appoligy on PTT general forums is when I witnessed him three times, up to 10 hours later cursing like a sailor. I'm a very good judge of character and his will not change so fast.

I know that you guys are concerned about this situation, but I think it would be best if you let the armies involved deal with the situation (which we are)

Thank you for all the opinions, but please remember this is a rather "fragile" matter - in the sense that we don't want this thing getting heated (im not implying that it is)

I don't doubt that the armies can handle it Spirit, but this doesn't just involve the armies.

Not sure if this is possible but TES should change his ip address, change his name and make a new start.
He should never make any references to his old name or any of the problems discussed here.
He can then build up trust the old fashioned way, with manners and good clean play.

I'm a 42-yo software eng who plays sometimes after (or instead of) work; and I especially dislike bad manners and potty language.

Adding a feature to Think Tanks that allows a player to register a unique name & IP would not be very difficult. Registered names that match IPs on a database on the server could show up highlighted in some way when in use to show that they are the genuine article. Or followed by |reg| or something.

My TT version number is 1.1. How long has it been since TT was revised?

It's always being revised. The modding community's quite active here, and we don't need new versions with all the mods we get. But this is off-topic. Welcome to PTT, Ding.
PS: We tried. PTT has its own nickname protection, but it only applies to PTT servers. And for some of us, our IP changes.

There are two official revisions of ThinkTanks. 1.02 (REALLLLYYY OLD) and 1.1. (current) Most if not everyone has 1.1.

1.1 is pretty old too. It's been a looong time since TT has had an update. I think there is a thread about that around here somewhere....
