I would also like to know this... XD
Whenever I try to apply cool terrains that my freinds (With TGE DEMO, and know how to use it ;) )give me. But when I add them to my mods, when I load, it will say (something I'm sure many of you have heard):
You don not have the correct art (offered by Torque Game Engine, to "yada yada yada"
XO
I hate that...
I'm too stupid to use TGE, but there is so much that it has to offer.
Besides, I'm not even interested I'n makeing games, so whats the point in spending a whole sea-note, when I'm only useing part of what it is meant for? :'(
All this also appliese to trying to change the Fricken sky! XO
I could do it but whenever I finish replacing the file to skyday0001."w/e", (again I say this :'( ) when I try to load my mod it says:
You don not have the correct art (offered by Torque Game Engine, to "yada yada yada"
XO
If only it was possible for a scripter to make something to rid several of us ffrom this ThinkTanks H3ll! XO
I get soooo excited when I accomplish something, but then theres always more... :[
This is one of the most stupid comments ever created I know all who think I spam to much, but I just have to speak my mind... :(

@NEVA DIE:
With the original TT maps, there is no way to change the terrian textures unless you rename the textures. Then after you do that, everyone will get invalid packet errors because the terrian textures that you have dont match theirs
in order to create a terrain with all those wonderful textures, you must make your own or change one up already made with TGE
sorry neva :[
@CaNnEdSpLaM
make sure all the textures you use are also located in the same path in TT
In Example:
if you add a texture from the file "game/data/textures/warfarescooltexture.jpg" it must have the same path in TT's files. So you would copy the file to TT using the path "game/data/textures/warfarescooltexture.jpg"
no more error
So if you dont know the textures your friends have
get the textures they used and the paths and install them
Or open TGE and reassign the textures

Mine works fine and I have no glitches.
I have not really posted "my method" But here it is.
I will usually open up a pre-existing mod that I know opens. Do a save as. I save them as unique names. I do not use the TT1_whatever method.
Then open that saved file. (Siberia)
I do all of the terrian editing I need to do excavate, smoothing, add dirt,so the map has the contour I'm looking for.
Then I look to the terrian painter. (The Expansion Pack has over 100 textures if installed)
I paint the terrains to my liking. I then place all of the objects where I want them. I'm referring to trees, grass, rocks.
Then I save that and take the saved terrian and mission file into ModWizard. (Siberia.mis & Siberia.ter for example)
In ModWizard I add all of the spawn points, the reload gates, speed pads, bounce pads, and powerups.
Save the file.
Rename the existing mis file to Siberiaold.mis
Rename the newly created mis file (MWx_y.mis) with Siberia.mis
That's all there is!.

Is there a way to apply a skin to the ground? I want to keep my mods, I just want to apply one of those terrains from Nap's expansion pack to the terrain. Is it that simple/possible? Do I need TGE? Is this a stupid question?
