I've used The Gimp before in the office, but not for skinning so I don't know how it will do. Some folks here have mentioned it, so I guess it's OK.
Its pretty much the little brother of photoshop, many of the same features, but photoshop is way more powerful.
Ummm I use appleworks cos thats the only thing u can draw on lol. Anything will work, all u have to do is save it as.png or.jpg and rename it as something else. Of course, dont listen to me, im just 14........ ;)

Is there an alternative to photoshop cause I looked at it online and it was like $649.00, and the only free thing I could find didnt work very well.
