^ And he can't skin (as far as we know). That is actually a good use. I think that the better you can make a tank with the less work is difficult. You have done very well. I would consider making the gun shaft and the brain holder the same as the sides, but make the turret (thing on top of tank, not attached to brain) a dark blue or silver. Make the inside sides (things on either side of the bottom on layout) the same color you make the turret. Good luck!

Thats no original idea it is a alienware desktop theme (I have it) and it's called darkstar and the pics on the side sre the background of it and so thing else it is copywrited too. :(

@soap: as the title says "a skin in the works" I was just posting to see how ppl would react.
@pgg: thanks for the feedback, also as I said it isn't finished yet ;). I will be working on it some more today.
@dan: yes, I did get the idea from the darkstar theme pack, but the parts on the tank are done by hand. And the use of such things is copywrited by alienware u say? :(

What you have done so far looks great in my book. Use your time and keep up the same style, and try not to screw up the middle part. :)

Told you I''d stop by and check yer tank out, since I have been skinning I recognize and see the work you have put into the skin. I like it keep up the good work mate you will get better with each one you do, and don't let these negative comments hold ya back buddy we need more skinners with original idea's. Stuff thats outta the box, outta the so called norm. In my book I dont give a rats atth how you make the skin. Copy and paste, bush, create yer own templates, who gives a big fat rip, the point is are you happy with it, does it look cool, and will people wear it, other than that the nay sayer's can take a flying leap, Lord knows there's plenty on here, you keep it up buddy I'm a fan of yers now.
