My new sigs:

KNFC = Killer Ninja Fortune Cookie :)

Both took two hours each. I'm a perfectionist. :P

What I would focus on for your sigs is blending the render with the backround. If it flows and looks good, then everyone'll think it's a good sig, even if you made a flub here and there. :)
Also try to focus on making the text go along with it. That looks just silly right there! Try using gradients in the text more. You can select it in the same place you select the stroke for the text, though I wouldn't recommend doing stroke either! :P
I like your backround, it looks pretty snazzy. Just try and make everything else go with it!

They are not bad TES&M. Spunky obviously has more experience with renders and sigs. Those sigs are awesome and were not made by a no0b.

There is no real "max" allowed, but I'm afraid to go beyond 400x140 for my dimensions. :S
