My father and I have attempted to allowe connection to the wii, however we're still not getting through. My father is wondering if access to the Udp ports are required (I think it's udp), cus if they are, he can't disable them, or the firewall would be down.

We opened the required ports: TCP:
Allow traffic to all destinations on ports: 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920, 80, and 443

My dad won't open these: UDP:
Allow all traffic to all destinations. (Necessary for peer-to-peer connections and game play).

That's probably my problem, he says if we open those, we're left unprotected, thoughts?

I don't know anything about the wii, but if it is anything like a normal computer then yes, you would need to open a UDP port.

I'm not a sick ps3 fan, lol.

Is it possibly to open a port to ONE connector? I would think so... 8o
