Eh…um…here’s the gig: since I can’t seem to philosophize without a hammer…and I don’t feel good about hammering people…I quit philosophizing on you all…I keep it to myself…I try to chuckle. Selfishness, lying, greed, torture, aggression, mass murder, environmental degradation, willful self-deception, hatred of the “other”…not terribly amusing really. My smile fades…

Even though I beat some of you with a smile and a pat on your back, I still beat on you: and I feel like a bully…and I hate bullies. Don’t you?

Yes, I could try and be more civil, couldn’t I? But isn’t that part of the problem? Civility? Isn’t it really the hand maiden of the status quo? I hate the tepidity of civilized conversation…some of us could converse without bruises…more likely, we parade around our ideologies like pets. Conversation as social exercise…its not for me. I’m actually upset half the time! I’m pissed off! Could you tell?

And then look at the crap people have been writing about…this is really no place for political discussion! The place is over-run with 14 year old boys! My identity suffers…I’m a left leaning political poster / bully in a site devoted to topics based on cartoon tanks, almost entirely inhabited by middle schoolers…(please don't take offense boys! It really is a great game...)

I did like the fact that the forum does generally seem to reflect the make up of american society…well, minus the redneck element (which is no small element of american society). Plus, there are a handful of the not so american types…So we do have different view points offered up. Most forums are more homogenous…boring. I really do like most of you, well as far as I know you…I mean, you all seem like great folks. Course, that’s what the BTK’s neighbors all thought about him…

So…I’m taking a break. Probably get bored and come back…everyone always does. But, if I don’t…I wish you all the best. I mean that. So…see you around….eventually, I’m sure…perhaps not so much in the forums...but in the games eh?

Although you and I disagreed more often than not, I have really enjoyed the thoughtful discussions that we have all had. Of course, I do realize that each one of us thinks the other is a brain cell away from insanity....but I digress.

I also see the forums decending into the hell of Tiger Beat . However, the threads that really make you think (mostly the ones you authored) are the ones that keep me coming back.

Your absence will be felt - I can assure you of that.

I do too think it's a pity you're leaving. I'm quite new to this game and to this forum (this is actually my first post ever). I really must say I really enjoyed your posts and as a European citizen I find it invigorating and uplifting to finally find at least one american who is critical of americas domestic and international doings and to the ever growing dumbness of the west. I too fear stupidity, corrupting brains and making people accept strange conditions.

I actually spend more time reading posts in the forum than playing the game. It's an interesting mixture of cultures and minds that come together and even if there is a lot of 14-year-old brains, one or two things may stick - you never know.

I just wanted to show my appreciation!

Well this 14-year-old isn't a spammer, a bully, or an idiot! :) I know how you might feel man. It's kinda like that with me an preschoolers. It just doesn't work out. You know, I kinda think I think like an adult sometimes...since I think how stupid these "kids rule" things are. I hate 'em 'cause then I think, "Hey, I'll be an adualt sometime later and say, how stupid can kids really get?" Lol, it's just that way with me. BTW Stink, I don't see you much on TT. Do you go by a different name?

It's important to promote the view of the world you believe in. We never know how what we say or write affects people, but it always does.
