OVERVIEW
I happen to have some knowledge of skins, and how they work. Below is a list of steps that you need to follow in order to get your skins to be installed properly.

FIRST
Find the skin you want on your tank [e.g the Unitedtanks skin]. BUT! Make sure it is 512x512 pixels length/width

SECOND
copy the skin you want from where ever you got it from.

THIRD
go to start/my documents. Then a screen should appear. Now on the top of the screen you should see some writing that says folders and a picture of 2 little folders. Click it

FOURTH
a side panel will come up. Now on that side panel click "my computer". You should see a giant list of things.

FIFTH
on that giant list, locate “local Disk (C:)”. Click it, and more options will come up

SIXTH
Once you click the local disk (C:), then find program files. This has your think tanks folder in it

SEVENTH
Now find bravetree [or whatever you saved your thinktanks folder as]. Double click it until you come to a folder named game. It should be next to common – dedicated – game.

EIGTH
Open the game folder. Then data, then shapes then finally tanks. At the top of the window it should say C:Program Filesravetreehinktanksgamedatashapesanks.

NINTH
Now find tank01 [should be alphabetically]. Rename it ORIGINAL so it is backed up. Then paste your skin, rename it tank01 and WALAH! Theres your new skin!

PS: originally wrote this for a clan member, but I didnt change it for it to be posted here so if its a littl econfusing I'll fix it...
