Let's lighten this up a bit, eh? How about, "who do you love to play AGAINST the most?" I never really wanted to hunt anyone down.
TankGirl and Bolo are probably my 2 favorite players to play against. I almost always appear on the other team because I love the challenge. TankGirl is damn fun to try to catch (watch her move! XD ) and Bolo is just an enjoyable pain in the a__ to stop (but it feels good when you pull it off). I don't like joining them on the same team because I then try too hard to be an asset. I get frustrated at letting them down with every mistake I make. Always a good game when I play against them, though!

I guess anything not essential to life can be considered a "great big waste of time and effort". Watching TV, listening to the Radio, reading a book, Playing TT are not necessary to exist.... But they sure are satisfying. Tracking down some idiot and killing them over and over again is a cathartic experience. Each kill of some smack-talking fool is like scratching an itch.... It just feels good. Might not be the most mature thing to do, but neither is driving around a little cartoon tank. It is kind of like road-rage, except in the TT world you actually get to hunt down and kill the person.
In the real world, you have to be much more discreet when you kill them.

Favorite targets (and some of my favorite players) in team scrum: Prey, Mars, Baba, Hugo, Tally, sluggy....i love to clear the goal...

Great stuff everyone.
@JB
Yeah, I get what you're saying about keeping it light hearted and all. I would also love to know whom everyone enjoys playing against as much as those they don't. Sort of paints the full picture, huh? It's also cool to see if you agree with others.
@TG
Totally agree there sista. It is all a great big waste of time... But I meant relatively speaking, when it comes to TT, spending whatever precious time you have to spend playing, isn't it wasteful to spend it on a fruitless and pointless activity such as hunting down some idiot/jerk instead of enjoying the competition and the game itself? Still, I will admit to getting some sort of sick thrill from chasing down and killing some loser.
@BLO (just kidding, I know you HATE that...Bolo)
Great list of targets to hit there! If nothing else, by hunting them down, you will find yourself right in the mix and might even get lucky and score a goal!
Note: Why does it feel good to kill someone after they score a goal? Especially when they've stolen what you felt was your goal?!!!
@Pai- I have to agree with you on that. I also personally find it a waste of time to pointedly hunt anyone down in TT, in ANY game- scrum BM, CTF, whatever. In my opinion, all it does is give those cretins the attention they so desperately desire.
Even if I'm being hunted myself, I continue to play my game. I actually do my best to ignore them. Sometimes they kill me, sometimes I get away. But I don't give them any undue attention. I imagine to them it must eventually feel like talking to a wall. They usually get bored of it and go pick on someone else. It seems to work for me, but then again, I don't have the type of playing reputation that some others do, so I don't tend to get harassed as much I imagine.

I like shooting supra (disguised, of course ;) ) since he's my league team captain. LC50, Quitter, and leopard come to mind as well.
Basically whoever's better than me within any certain game. Not that I don't like them, but a kill boosts my ego a bit and the process is hopefully improving my skills. I mean, who cares if I kill paisano? (just kidding) XD
@Rabban
Very funny...and impossible since I never use Paisano when I play!
Yes, the name Rabban is on everyone's hitlist too. NOT!
J/k ;)
I like to shoot 56k Lag Man when we are playing against him because I like to hear the ting from across the room.
And if he kills me I can just poke him with a big stick.
poke poke
I agree wit tank girl, but I like to score on those people
As far as playin against any one I guess, now a days
I have been playin against myself, I try to see how many
Games in a row I can win, lately its been hard to win
Three in a row, its seems that the list of very good players
Has grown in pass months...
I like that tho...

Actually, I'd say I'm on a lot of hit lists, but not because of my skills. Folks tend to disagree with my opinions here in the forums so I'm sure they take a bit of delight a shooting me over and over and over and over...
Maybe I should play under "He Hate Me". XD
Lol paco...its was fun when mysteryman would play on my lan...we would shoot each other and hear the ping sound....we could yell at each other and throw things...lol.....i loved when we were on the same team and could tell each other pass and such!!

Me and Corey (FU) used to be able to play at work (mornings, lunch, after clock out) and that was always fun to hear "TING TING TING TING TING.... MUTHA!!!!!". We'd clean up in team games though, I think being able to talk to each other gave us the advantage.
I like to go after the heavy hitters in the game. Its fun to get them aggravated when a newbie starts taking their game :-D
There are a few people I love to try and kill.. Bolo, and the Ho are but two. Not because I dislike them.. But more because its so damn difficult to. Thus when it happens, its far more rewarding :)
Campers are mildy amusing to kill, but generally pretty easy as they sit still with big bullseyes on them.

Do you have a favorite tank/player that you especially enjoy killing/shooting?
Maybe it's nothing personal, maybe it's just because they are your biggest competition or threat.
Maybe it is something personal.
I ask because I noticed last night that someone spent several games just hunting down and killing an imposter who was using their name.
He obviously had a valid reason for going after the imposter, but do you think that really prevents anything? Is it worth it all?
I think we all enjoy killing the demo attacks gang of fools. But once again, isn't it a great big waste of time and effort???
Edit thanks to JB:
On the other side of the spectrum, which players do you enjoy playing against?
