Just today, I quit thinktanks magazine.

I did not want to be a part of something of which the leader doesn't take responsibily. Ever since I joined, I was happy to help out.

But, as filbert always does, he got lazy. Soon, he piled almost EVERYTHING on my shoulders. I was now responsible for finding new subscribers, getting art, writing a column, designing the entire magazine, and sending it to everyone. What was filbert's responsibility? Nothing. Nothing but to sit back and order people around.

I did not want to be a part of this any longer.

Unfortunately, this will mean a large delay in the release of the first ThinkTanks magazine. But if you have complaints, tell Filbert, I have nothing to do with this anymore.

I would like to have my say!

Nathan, first of all, gladly takes the job of compiiler. That is why I give the stuff to him--to compile. That just happened to be the job he excepted. I said in a post that if Racer wnated to help him with graphics, he could.

This morning, I get an email from him saying very roughly, that I fired Spunky, and he wanted to quit before I fired him. First of all, I never fired spunky . Spunky and I are best friends, and I would nevr do that. However, no matter how many times I tell nathan that, he keeps repeating that I did. If so, could he please show me where?

We emailed back and forth a few times. I told him that I wished he could at least finish this issue, since it was set to come out tomorrow. He would not do it. He started acting pretty nasty, (I admit I just replied in a almost nasty way myself, I was so porvoked.) He kept yelling about me firing spunky, see above.

That was a recent email.

I just figured that if he promised to do it, he should at least try and finish ONE, so we could get on our feet.

Anyway, I don't think I will try this again. Not because I am "lazy," but becasue I can't seem to get anyone else to hlep me, and when someone does look pottentially helpful, they bail! Nathan always was emaotional though...

Ummm.. Mabe u should ask some of the tank skinners to help u with the graphic designs (I could probably help u out with that when I get home from the Summer (I have Paint Shop Pro 7))

Well, at first, I tried to politely tell filbert why I had to quit, because I was too busy, and because of some things he said, but obviousely Filbert is quite volitile, and he doesn't take this kind of thing well.

Probably the biggest reason I quit is because I'm TOO BUSY. I have a life, and a job, so why would I want to do something else that seems like work?

In case you all haven't noticed, I've stayed calm throughout this, and Filbert continues to rage on. This isn't the kind of person I want to work with. I WAS thinking of maybe getting back into TT mag, but because of some of the things Filbert said, I'm not going back.

That's that. If you want more explaination, let me know. I'll be glad to try to clear this up.

Well, it's settled. I'm not going back to TT mag. Here is a snippet from a recent email from Filbert:

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I'd rather the mag look bad then try and do it with you.

I don't think "The New Yorker" got where it is with people like that in charge. ;) (Guess it's gonna look bad......)

Well..... What if someone else took over for TT mag? Would you work for it then?

@nathan:yeah, probably, butif it were you, I'd quit the very instant I heard, you quit, so I would have no reason not to, the people you worked with trusted you to do your part, but you just quit instead, you delayed the mag, you started a fight, and you made me a psycologist for 1 post, congrats. I find it unfair that you'll fire me if Tankster keeps taking my job. I never asked him to do any of my work for me, and I could have gotten it done on my own. But when I talked to Tankster about it, he made his point absolutely clear that he had already done the profile and he had worked on it very hardly etc. If you want to tell him to stop taking my job, then go right ahead.

I did it cuz I thought it was a favor, you said 'Gah! I have to do this and (something I forgot)" AND we were running low on TIME. SO I wanted to HELP.

Spunky, I didn't mean to get your caught up in this. And for doing that, I'm sorry.

But, whether he admits it or not, I have a strong feeling that Filbert told Tankster to do Spunky's job. Filbert has been a real jerk to everyone as of late, and I just couldn't take it anymore. That's why I quit.

I get enough shit in real life, I don't need it in the internet world.

I swear he didnt, I just did it to put in some stuff for the mag. I wanted to be 2 in command.
