For me it's when I'm so into the game that I don't see the scoreboard until the reload screen comes up. That accompanied by the thought of "hmm those are interesting scores but I don't really give a rat's ass cause it sure was fun!"
For me it's when the game ends and you look at the scoreboard, see you're in first place, and can't remember scoring half of those goals.
Games where you weave through the goal-line scrum without losing the flag. Games where you drive backwards and remember where all the obstacles are. Games where the arrows are always pointing in the right direction. Games where you get accused of being Bolo or Tally in disguise. B)
Oh, I've had them. XD Just very rarely. When I first started playing as Beelze |Bot| I was accused of being several of the really good players in disguise. *sigh* It doesn't happen often enough unfortunately.
@tmo
Excellent example. I think that is one of the best thrills of using an alias, really. Your game is evaluated and judged from a clean slate without pre-conceived notions or expectations. It's a good way to get a fair review of your skills without any prejudice or personal biases. I've had the same thing happen to me many times when I've had one of those special games (where luck AND skill show up in the same game!). It's exciting.
However, I've many days where I've played like I was running on fumes!!! When that happens, I feel like that dude in the commercial who is running with his buddies who are all riding mountain bikes!!! It's so pathetic, but that's how it feels! ;)
Lol reag. That looks pretty familiar except you left off the lightning striking you while you're in the water.
A good game for me is when my team wins. A great game for me is when my team wins and I score a bucket-o-points.
@Reagent X
LOL..exactly! When simple jumps off pads become Snake River Evil Kenevil leaps!
When easy freebies become extremely difficult endeavors! When you can't seem to make one clean pass to a teammate!
:)
Hey thanks pai man, I appreciate the comments [just don't build me a rep I can't live up to ;). I never thought the 'en fuego' thing was mine specifically, I have seen a few others use the phrase too. But it always happens during one of those great games. The props go to you for having deserved the rare phrase.
TMO BC & FLEA- perfect examples; I especially love those games that end with one [or two!] frantic buzzer beating goals, after everyone suddenly notices the game is tied with thirty seconds left
BO- well your worst nightmares came true, the Thread Of Doom you were dreading has arrived. Great games the other night, man

What are good indicators that you are having a great game? Is it the amount of goals you've scored? Is it the number of times that you've forced other players to press the space bar (for new tanks)? Well, one good sign that you're having a great game is when evil*twin says "en fuego!" after you score yet another goal. It means On fire in spanish. He doesn't use that term often, but when he does, it is usually because someone is having a dominating performance. I was fortunate enough to get the en fuego blessing the other night when evil*twin and I had a very good game against stiff competition in team scrum. I had a very good game (did not make any bonehead mistakes, made several spectacular runs and steals at the goal and cleared the path several times for my teammates). The only other time I've seen evil*twin say en fuego came in a game we played with Bolo as our teammate and he has a stellar performance (more than usual). Bolo was funny at the end of the game when he said, "I don't want to see another thread about me after this game!". This was after that Tally Ho apology thread.
Anyway, if you see someone say "en fuego", then chances are good that you are indeed on fire.
