Dazzle will get around to it. He's very busy at the moment what with getting home from the convention and whatnot... Give the man some slack. I'd love to be playing Rollerball at the moment, but patience is a virtue. :)

And I can say its a great game! We played it during the East Coast Convention and I was amazed. He's really put something together there worth having. So, be cool and don't demand something that you're going to get for free. He might decide to teach a few people a lesson and release it when he pleases.

I am really getting a little P***** over this, if one more person asks me when is rollerball gonna be out I think I will explode. Have you any idea what it takes to do this type of moddin, it aint easy and its never right first time!!!!!!!

First off, the game will be hosted in the US and for one reason and another (most of which you do not need to know) I have not had time to arrange that with Roo yet.

Second, Following extensive testing and the suggestions that were given, there were a few things that needed adjusting and I have been working on thatand all that is done, also there was a slight delay in the new GUI admin script that has been written especially for RollerBall, it is now done and installed.

Third I have been on holiday.

Fourth, I will ask you this would you rather we release and only be 90% complete? Then all I would get is hundreds of emails and posts complaining about the game. We will only release when its 100% and not sooner, that way if there is a problem we can be be sure when we say its you and not us.

Yes the game is done and to be honest proballly 99.9% I just need to do the last few things when I get home cos as I write this I am sitting in JFK airpirt in New York, so please cut me some slack - I am doing my best and do have responsibilities that take time up apart from TT and RollerBall.

Des you make another comment like that and you may never see it!!!!! And stop asking me every time you see me in game, I occasionally like to play as well.......

Why SHOULD I have to "bring anything to the community"? I don't know if you're aware, but this IS just a cartoon tank-game. It's relaxing after a day at work. It's not supposed to be a serious life-devotion. I respect and admire what all the modders are doing, but I don't have any desire to do any of it myself and I don't like feeling bullied into feeling inadequate because of it.

I asked a question, because I was curious, if dazzle takes offense to it, then it is not meant and I apologise, but I don't see why you should be taking abuse from you for something of which is not your concern.

Anyway, "What I have been doing"? I don't know what exactly you're trying to accuse me of and I'd be curious to hear. If you excuse the cliched expression 'I have no skeletons in my closet'.

^^ I agree with that, too many whiners asking when it'll come out. You guys think it's so easy, you do something like it (but copy it, or anything even close, and I'll hunt you down like a Jedi chasing the Sith - I won't stop). Now, IMO, Daz should give everyone one fair warning through a post here on PTT. The warning would be to wait for it, and to stop asking, because Daz will announce it when he's ready. Afterwards, if people still ask, they get banned temporarily or permanently, depending on how much of an arse they are about it.

Dazz - RollerBall is the best thing ive ever heard of and ive seen many screenies. Its great. Im looking forward to playing on it. (not to rush you are anything like that)

@ everbody that wants Roller Ball now - Dazz is probabaly Busy right now! And stop whining or just like dazz said you may never get to see it!

I don't see why it would be 'whiners' asking when it's coming out, so cut Pedro-Bloop some slack.

The RollerBaller crews have made many announcements in the past weeks/months and we're all excited to see what it will look like, especially a 5x5 game with good players on each side!

IMO those inquiring on the RB status are more curious and interested in the games than simply being 'whiners'.

I also meant to post here to ask when it's coming out - npt to see Dazzle explode (that would be another thread for the Adult Forum), but to confirm that I'm interested to try it asap! Woot! :P

@Daz You let me in to check it out and it was incredible. However, I think it is cruel to let me have a taste and then make me wait again. I'll be in it when it is up. But I won't have much time to play until the end of November so no rush.

Personally I think that this kind of skill is why there won't be a TT2. With this kind of talent modding what is the need for GG to come out with a replacement?

Believe me I want to get this finished and released as soon as possible, but there is a few little things left to implement. I will do my best to get it done this week ready for release next weekend, but no promises.

Believe it or not I really want to play the game against all of you as much as you guys just want see and play the game XD

Sorry that you where stressed about this if I wasn't camping I could've dealt with this for you.

And lastly dazzle and I are just as eager as all of you are to release our game... But we have to wait it out, we don't want to have a small little problem, because it could become larger. Roo will host 24/7 and it will be out there soon, so just bare with us.

I thought of a really cool racing game. Would you be willing to help me make it. Needs scripts though. Will E-mail u 2 c if your willing or not. BTW was it canned that scripted rollerball cause if u want to make it we sure would need his scripting skills. If you don't want 2 thats fine I'll look for someone else. :)

^ If I remember what Dazzle told me at the convention, he's taking a well deservered break for a while. Perhaps that would be a better suggestion for the Modding Section of PTT where others who aren't on break could help you...and not this thread. ;)

The bug in the main RollerBall script has now been fixed thanks to Mr Splam (good work my friend)

Just a few minor corrections in the new GUI RollerBall Admin script to sort out and then we should be ready to rock and roll.

I have finished the web page on my website and the RollerBall forums have also been created, these will be locked until release.

Not long now - working day and night for the TT masses XD
