Hi All,

Recently I read a post about a match between two giants in TT, Hoosane and Ben (SA). So I decided to take matters in to my hands and compare myself against either of these two greats in a battle.

I found Ben (SA) in a scrum server, and kindly asked him if he would challenge me.

There were two games played, the first is my server (Deeper Shade of Red), and the second in his (Conferencing).

Before I post the results let me say that I was honoured to battle Ben, now I truly know why he is a great player.

The results of the first game was Ben(SA) 10 - Xtreme Girl 16

The results of the second games was Ben(SA) 19 - Xtreme Girl 15

This was definitely the best battle I've ever had the plesure of being a part of.

At the end of the two games it was suggested by Ben(SA) that maybe Z, if he could kindly make this possible, host a server to neutralize any advantages.

I am always up for a challenge. So here I am...... Waiting patiently....... WHO'S NEXT????

Take Care,

X-Girl (Xtreme Girl)

If it ain't scrum.....well, it's boring.

Ben

Dear god (-z-),

Could you maybe, please, set up a one on one battlemode server? It could be up all the time.... There would be a permanent pass... And if anyone needs to pay I will. I'm loving the one on one I've been able to do recently, and this would be a fun way to get more one on one matches going. Maybe (I think jangles suggested this) there could even be a challenge of sorts standing, results from this server would be saved, and winners could be challenged by losers or such wimps.

Thank you god. I mean -z-.

Ben

@ all you exclusive scrummers - Suck my muzzle! :P

Thursday, February 05, 2004 at 6:34:05 AM

Seems to me like you guys need a tie breaker....

Thursday, February 05, 2004 at 7:56:42 AM

@ TG, don't be ignorant, ;) BM can be very challanging, if you can handle it B)

@ XG, I'll take that chalange! 8( I never schedule anything, But next time I come accross you online, I'll pull you aside!

@ Ben, does this mean XG is the new KOTL? Btw, I'd like to challenge you to a 1 on 1 BM as well! 8(

Ben,

I am with you.... God... Oops I meant -Z- (LOL) please set up a designated server so we can play battlemode on neutral grounds. Whilst I thoroughly enjoy the battle earlier on, I am not going to take much credit for being a fine player until I know that I can win, where the playing field is equal for all players involved.

Now, For all you who swear by scrum only, think outside the square. I play scrum as often as I can, and I am starting to like it, however diversification is a word you scrummers should start to familiarize yourselves with. TT is a great game, and there is loads more than just being good at one part of this great game.

Anyway, I better stop before I step on someones toe. See you all in the battle field.

Take Care,

X-Girl (Xtreme Girl)

Scrummer here *hides in goal*

Thursday, February 05, 2004 at 1:15:22 PM

@kozer,

There is a huge difference between being ignorant and being opinionated. I started as a BModer and quickly grew tired of the rapid kill-be killed-kill-be-killed pace of the game. Battlemode in TT is similar in overall feel to typical FPS tournament games. Sure there is talent required to be the best bmoder, but my opinion is that Scrum is much more satisfying.

An opinion based on experience and preference, not ignorance.

We all have our opinions...k?

Ben

I whole heartedly agree with you TG... I never play solo battlemode anymore. Teams and one on one practically exclusively now. A good one on one battlemode game is a whole lotta fun in dis one's opinion. And then there's the league... Wow.

-z-

As soon as I get all the site upgrades finished and this site back up to 100% again, I'll look into getting a BM 1on1 server sorted out - maybe only for set days of the week or something though.

Please bear with me. I have an awful lot to get fixed and sorted out until then.

I gotta admit, getting a little rough with an Xtream Girl sounds interesting.

I've been beat by the best :-)

Let's do it sometime.

I don't remember beating you in battlemode, Flea.... XD

Oh, and it is interesting my friend. Fun too. You know.

I think im in luv :)

Saturday, February 07, 2004 at 10:19:08 AM

Xtreme Girl:

Please note my acceptance of your challenge. Inasmuch as I don't check the boards much, it may take a while for us to get together and dance.

I tend to play during the week between 5 & 7 eastern US, but from time to time will get stuck out of town and get lucky enough to get a room with boradband and will be on until past midnight. We will have to use either your server or a thrid party, as I use a company computer.

Will check back for your (hopefully) positive response.

Sunday, February 08, 2004 at 6:26:07 AM

-z-,

Thanks for acknowledging both Ben's and my request to have a dedicated server for those freaks of nature who love 1 vs 1 battlemode. I guess Ben will have to patiently wait fot the server to come, looks like you are knee deep in work.

K8,

I understand that you are somewhat of a guru in scrum. I am on the lookout for you to join you in a game, however I would like for you to battle me as well.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE..... 1vs1 anytime anywhere.

Fleabiscuit & (UF) Chief,

I am yet to walk away from a battle challenge. Your request to battle me have been approved by team management of Xtreme Girl Incorporated. I will be on the lookout for you two, if you see me in a server make sure you come and grab me. BTW (UF) Chief, normally team management charge a fee for setting, and hosting a server for battlemode, however since you are keen, we will waive the fee in this instance.

Turnabout,

Can you please tell me who you are in love with???

Ben,

I have left the last words for you. As a great Wrestling Champion (GOLDBERG) once said - You're Next!!!!!

Oh YEAH 2 of the best Female players in TT, duke it out for the title of Misses TT!

Who will win? Its Bra VS Bra! In a no holds Contest that will determine the future and face of TT!!!!

Come 1 come all!!!

You can order it now on Pay-Per-Z-View!

Sunday, February 08, 2004 at 10:41:16 AM

@ TG, your right and I respect your opinion. Even though I disagree with it. Although I think scrum is funner than Racing, CTF, BM, and TBM, I do not think that Racing, CTF, BM, and TBM is boring.

Sorry that I accused you of being ignorant. But for the record, I never said you were ignorant.

BTW: I used to be known as Freeloader ;)

Peace,

Kozer

Sunday, February 08, 2004 at 11:05:23 AM

Hi All,

About three hours ago, I had a rematch with the one and only Ben(SA) on Stan's Gladiator Server. After a hard fought battle, Ben(SA) showed me why he is one of the top players in TT beating little me 24-20. I bow my hat gracefully for Ben(SA). Thanks for the game......

Gorilla,

LOL... Your pay-per-view will only exist if I can get TG in the ring to start off with.

Monday, February 09, 2004 at 3:28:35 AM

Wow. Congrats ben... Hoosane is still the best though....

Monday, February 09, 2004 at 3:41:00 AM

@Kozer....no problems. All is good. I have played with you many times as freeloader (under a variety of my own aliases). I was being silly for effect by saying that any game that isn't scrum is boring. I have never played CTF or Racer. I should have said that I think BM is boring....cause I really do think it is boring....but that is just my opinion. Anyway Koz, thanks a bunch for the reply.

@ Xgirl. Thanks for the offer, but I am just not a BMode person. I started (a year ago) in Bmode when I bought TT thinking BMode was all there was to the game. I did not even realize that Scrum was part of the TT experience. I played Bmode for a solid month and finally concluded that I was done with TT. Good time, well worth the cost, but Bmode was 2 dimensional (heighth and width but not enough depth) and I had grown bored. I was ready to walk away from TT, satisfied with the experience. One day I tried that Scrum thing (thinking it was just a mod). I immediately realized that (for me) scrum had the missing 3rd dimension.......a goal.....a task....something more than killing and being killed.

In the next few days, scrum took over my life. Scrum has everything Bmode has and much, MUCH more. I have been addicted for the past 10+ months and have never gone back to BMode once.

I realize that my comments will probably come under attack by fans of the BMode, sorry in advance if I offended anyone. Not my intention. Just trying to give XG a history in answer to why I am not interested in meeting her in battlemode.

Monday, February 09, 2004 at 4:05:42 AM

@ TANK GIRL

I too prefer playing scrum more than battlemode, yet im willing to play battlemode just for the olympics and just for the fun of it. I sometimes play battlemode and most of the time get my ass whipped good style, but its only a game and shouldnt be taken so seriously. These olympics are just a bit of fun it doesnt matter if you are no good at battlemode (ever heard the saying) ITS THE TAKING PART THAT COUNTS.

Monday, February 09, 2004 at 4:17:31 AM

Hi Miss Kitty,

Die hard competitor here. Did I ever hear "ITS THE TAKING PART THAT COUNTS."? Yep....never was much for that saying.... (lol).

My competitive spirit is definitely a blessing and a burden. Has made me very successful, and has often made me very miserable. But it is who I am and I don't choose to change. I love great competition, but only if I am one of the great competitors. In order for me to compete 1 on 1 with XG, I would have to squirrel myself away and practice Bmode.....and to do that I would have to at least LIKE BMode. It isn't that I PREFER to play scrum over Bmode....I just don't like bmode at all.

Don't get me wrong, I spend a lot of time in games where all I do is watch and chat with friends, but if I am competing I take it seriously. This thread is not the olympics thread. This is the 1 on 1 where the results are posted. I (the Bmode UNenthusiast) playing against the reigning battlemode queen is my idea of 15 minutes of hell where I get my bootie kicked and the results posted.

It isn't a character flaw that I don't want to play against XGirl.....I just don't like Battlemode and as such, I am not good at it. There is no competition.

Monday, February 09, 2004 at 5:32:14 AM

@TANK GIRL

I understand what you mean its your choice at the end of the day! Enjoy the game you play :) :) :) B)

Hi All,

I had the pleasure of battling Dominator 2 (AA) earlier today. A good player I must admit when I play against him in TT, however his flaw is that his mouth likes to run lose, and sometimes his profanities are less than desired.

The final score was 17-8 in my favour.

See you all in the battlefield.

@ Wal - she's talking about battlemode. Tried taking either of us on in battlemode? Didn't think so.

Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 1:24:01 AM

Ben I think alt + f4 belongs up there with u and hoosane. Ever play him??

Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 6:26:30 AM

Today I had the pleasure of battling (UF) Chief. Due to time constraints we could only find time for one game which was played in my server. After a slow start I managed to pull away, and finish with a scoreline of 16-7 (my way).

Thanks for the battle (UF) Chief.

X Girl -

I certainly enjoyed the battle the other day. As always, it was a pleasure. I look forward to our next "round".

I haven't been around much due to my travel schedule, which will probably get worse before it gets better (tonight I'm in....drum roll please.....DFW Texas). It'll probably keep me from playing consistently for a couple of months.

Until then......see ya in CTF maybe once a week if I'm lucky.

Sunday, February 15, 2004 at 10:15:23 AM

Well.....Im ready for a match......Can there be 2 rounds? Battlemode and Scrum.

XTREME GIRL IS NEXT!

Hi All,

Just want to update you all with my latest battle against X. I found X in team battlemode. After killing him he called me a bitch. Enraged as I was, I asked him to battle me 1 vs 1, if he was man enough to battle me. So after two rounds and a scoreline as below, he will think twice as to who he messes with:-

Game 1 XG (11) X (6)

Game 2 XG (24) X (7)

(UF) Tankster,

As you can see above I am trying to get as much match fitness as I can. I am on the prowl for you, so get ready.......

Hi All,

..... Well what can I say.... Another match another helpless victim. This time it's Echohawk. After two rounds the scores were as follows:-

Game 1 XG (23) EH (7)

Game 2 XG (26) EH (8)

(UF) Tankster..... YOU'RE NEXT!!!!!

Yes, dots will beat you... But if you can manage to stay one behind, that'll be good. Maybe you'll get beginners luck like I did though.

And I wouldn't go with the no powerups thing. His fat tank is practically impossible to kill consecutively without a bounce back.

Monday, February 16, 2004 at 11:44:59 PM

Belive the hype Xtreme Girl YOUR NEXT!

Hi All,

In preparation for my battle against (UF) Tankster I saw one of his army fellows - (UF) Gangsta who was willing to battle me. The result of our game was XG (21) UFG (8).

'Three Dots Man',

Great battle this morning. I see that I need to practice more against heavy tanks after losing 7 - 5. Great MOD btw.

(UF) Tankster,

After searching high and low for you we finally caught up in Miss Kitty's MOD. I did not fear for your DEATH WAS NEAR. After one game you barely scratched the paint in my tank after beating you XG (10) - UFT (0). This is the first part of our two rounds --- so I guess I will look forward to a challenge in the next game.......

Hi All,

I guess its not my day to pick on the heavies. I have battled with LC50 both on his side and against, and wanted to know if he was as good as the reputation that followed him. I guess after he beat me 12 - 9, he proved my point. Thanks for the battle LC50. I look forward to seeing you around in the battlefield.

Damn, Tank....at least I SCORED on a laggy server.....lol.

Dunno why, I just ain't as good outside CTF as I am in it....and no, I'm not bragging. Just stating fact.

Has Z mentioned when his 1 on 1 server would be up yet?

(Tonight it's.......the Big Apple! Nice town, can't wait to get home. Cold as hell up here.)

Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 10:43:06 AM

Hi All,

WOW.... What the hell is happening here? I have come online to whats happening in the PTT website this afternoon to see a lot of commotion in this thread. 'Three dots man' I can't see what I am doing wrong by posting results here in this thread. I clearly stated yesterday that I lost against you in a game that was played in your server, so please get out of my face. I love battling my fellow players (for those who agree to battle me). Sometime I am victorious, and sometimes I am defeated. All of the scores are posted correctly..... So if you have any hang ups.... Please send an e-mail to someone who cares.... And post your thoughts in a forum for someone who actually cares too.

As for your reference to some other thread called 'Roll the Dice', what the hell is that??? What is the GG Forum???

It seems like you have some issues you should try to resolve.

Take Care,

Hi All,

Its been a while since I have posted the results of my recent 1 vs 1 battles:-

XG (15) Muz (7)

XG (17) El Fuego (7)

Game 1 XG (24) Blitzkreig (15)

Game 2 XG (23) Blitzkreig (14)

I understand that earlier on today Blitz made it to the 40 + club, congratulations, and sorry for gate crashing your celebrations with two hard fought wins.

Once me and XG battled, but the lag was too much. Here where the results from the half way point where it got imposible to drive:

Game 1: XG: 10...............445: 6

Very well played under Lag XG!,

Racer445

Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at 6:59:27 PM

Hey "dots":

Be nice and let her have her fun. She's posting these reports in a very civilized and fair manner... Even though no one might care who she beat and what she does. No one has to come here and read this if they don't want to. Save your vinegar for the impostors, spammers, team killers, and true filth. This is certainly a better thread than many of the others that suck bandwidth (bananna threads, etc.).

But, yes, an organized 1 on 1 tourney will be cool, and we look forward to you organizing that.

This is unkind of me, but justice in some loose sense of the word must be served...

Killer77's, aka Dots, list of HIS 1 on 1 wins.

I fail to see the difference between what you did and what she's doin', Killer. I don't have any problems with any of this, but you might as well show her how you had the same kinda thing.

Hi All,

I can see the double standards here Sizicus. I won't comment much 'Three Dots Man', but you have some issues that you should try and sort out before you open your mouth. This thread is supposed to be fun. For someone whom I don't even know, you seem be on a mission to try and annoy me somewhat. Please don't cross me otherwise I will teach you the meaning of the word BITCH......

I see that the 3 dots man is having it rough here. I think LC's words are good advice, nevertheless, this thread is far from well spirited. Having said that, it's perfectly permissible, just like we have every right to post our feeling about it. Personnally I would never advertise my wins in 1 on 1, especially if the score is loose. Just distasteful.
